Well, I decided it is safer to spray on a tan rather than go to a tanning salon or heat my skin in the sun. What product of spray on tans have you used and that you would recommend? I don't want streaks or uneven layers...

DO NOT GO TO HOLLYWOOD TANS.
it honesly wasn't that bad.. but i just wasn't expecting what happend at all.
and its SOO DARK you can barely see to rub it in so you either rub it all off or its streaky.. just no. dont go there.

nonE! they are waste of money! they all make you look orange. use this stuff by banana boat it's a sunblock and sun tannign oil so you get a tan without get sunburnt or any other damage. =)

Any tan is damaging, not matter how dark or light it is, tanning damages you skin no matter what.

um...as far as spray on tans do you mean home spray on tans or like at a salon spray on tans?

I never trust those spray on tans. All my friends that do it all look like they are made outta clay when they finish. Looks disgusting lol. if you want a tan, then just go outside hehe. but i guess if you HAVE to have one of those fake tans, i would go with that lotion that moisturizes your skin and eventually gives you a tan, the more you use it the more "orange" you get lol. so you have more control over everything. But i hate those fake tans, lol it looks soo much better when it doesn't look like you tried too hard.

see, my dad wont let me get one done, unfortunately i'm whiter than the albino dude at school, but he wont let me have it done because the spraying, when you inhale it it does weird things to your lungs, but then again he's paranoid.

I agree with KissMe2408, get a nice lotion, like the jergens simply glowing or something like that, and use that. it'll gradually tan you...eh..or so the commercial says on tv.

Neutrogena is by far my favorite. I do not use spray on tans or go tanning, I like pale skin.

However at the store I went crazy and sprayed my arm with various tanning spray products and the Build A Tan is the only one that looked natural and not orange.

I think it is put out by Neutrogena, not sure.

Clarins Liquid Bronze is a really good self tanner. It also got raves reviews on Makeup Alley http://makeupalley.com/product/showreview....s/Self_Tanners/. But it's quite expensive at $28. For a cheaper good alternative you can try Maybelline Tinted Self Tanner.

She's right, any form of tanning is damage to the skin. If you've ever been burned as a kid, your chances of getting melonoma is increased quite a bit. Melonoma is a type of skin cancer. There's also one called non-melonoma...

If you have the money I'd suggest one of those spray on tan booth places that cost quite a bit o' money but if not, choose something that will work gradually like Jergens. The other stuff will make you ORANGE. I haven't tried since I'm born tan [lol] but I've seen people who have. :(
