Who has makeup tips for thin lips?, I need 'em! Options

Have you noticed most girls in magazines have long hair, big eyes ( and eyelids =P ), long, thin noses, and full lips? What about the REST of us? Short hair, small eyes, almost NO eyelids ( ~sighs~ ), ANY other type of nose, and thin lips? Curse me for not fitting your magazine's ideal beauty! Anyway, does ANYONE have tips for me? I have thin lips and lipgloss ( pretty much any dark colours, as well ) can't work with me. I can't line them to make them look fuller because of their shape. My eyes are very small and eye shadow doesn't even show up. Also, I can't do ANYTHING with my short hair. It's cut in a bunch of different lengths, but the longest part is to my shoulders. Last time I trust a 'professional'.. haha. Does anyone know of a cover-up that doesn't look fake or make acne just stand out MORE? Cover-up that can cover dark circles under the eyes?

I've never believed being make up pretty was right, but it's my last hope =)

Putting lipliner gives the effect that you have larger lips.

However, use a lipliner color that matches your skin tone kind of or else it will look horrible.

oooh get that lip venom stuff. it plumps your pout n makes your lips swell! LoL i think you can get it from sephora
my trick is to put on chap stick, then dab gloss in the center and press my lips together. it puts more shine in the middle making the lip look more full.... read it in InStyle once ;-)

yeah i agree.. but my lips are normal and im fine about it. are you asian..? but w/e dont be ashamed of what you are. i mean i admit i have small eyes, but my nose is pointy and my hair is pretty long. it doesnt matter what you look like remember it matters how you're like inside.. and trust me girls in magazines are air brushed all the time

maybe you should ask those people at the makeup booths at the mall what to do cuz i dont wear makeup so i wouldnt know lol

try using lip gloss...
and concentrate to the tip
its shine may look bigger..

But I'm finally letting them tell me what I "should" look like. I'm tired of being ridiculed. I've never really worn make up before, I hate looking fake. x.x

Hey! It's not all that fun having full lips! Take it from me. I wish my lips were smaller in size. I actually think I look funny. lol.
Anyways, who cares about what models in magazines look like. They look like plastic barbie dolls. Nobody is perfect.

i dont think make up makes you look fake...i mean it does if you cake that junk on....but sometimes it brings out whats best in you...im not exactly an expert purssayyyy...but i think with your small eyes or whatever maybe you should try some bright colors? try the two toned look....=] lols...and for you're lips? i have no idea...i never experienced with small lips before...haha...i think you should try something red and glossy though....make people SEE your small lips...dont be ashamed of them...

as for the asian comment...im asian and ummm......i dont think i was born with that asian gene you speak of...beauty?

Id say go with a pink/tan-ish color with a tiny bit of shine to make them look full and pouty?

I have quite big lips so i dont really know but you could use lipliner or buy some stuff that makes your lips bigger.

lipliner. outline your lips in a lighter shade and then use a colored gloss. don't make the liner purple and then use a blue gloss. use natural colors. that's what my friends makeup lady did for her at her quincinera, ah i can't spell.

lipliner...make sure it matches your skin tone, and lots of gloss....and dab extra gloss in the middle of your lips. as for you eyes.......curl your lashes, and put mascara, only on the top lashes..and maybe a little eyeliner on the top with a little white eyeshadow in the corner of your eyes...its works, i did it on my friend, and she looked gorgeous....well even more gorgeous then she already is .
