Background of default header Options

A friend of mine asked me this, and I really wasn't sure, so I'll leave it to you experts.

The oh-so-default header for xanga, where you put in your site name and tagline... is there any way to have the background of that be a picture?

And if not... is there any way to have something similar to the default header which would stay full screen width (regardless of resolution and window size, just like the header does) and would support an image background?

I hope that makes sense. If not, I'll just help him make a *cool* header.

Yeah, there is a way.
You know that little section with the drop-down choices? Well, it should say "Create Custom header." well, just change that to "Input your own header HTML" and then you're able to insert your own banner there. :happy;

Oh, I knew that... that's what I use for my own xanga. But he still wanted to put the text on top and change it whenever he wanted to...

Um. He can put text just by typing in there? O_O Is that what you're saying? Erm, if he wanted to change the font, he could use basic HTML to change it.
Then if he wanted a picture, he could also add it..

Oh, in case you were wondering, the class for the header is, well, header. So you can basically add whatever junk you want to that code.
