My friend's dog, Chi-Chi, a little black chihuaha, was hit by a car this morning, and he died on impact. He was barely a year old.
The scene just keeps replaying over and over in my mind, and I can't get it out. I just think that I could've done more to save his life, so I'm feeling that part of this is all my fault...

Aww, I'm sorry to hear about that sad.gif But right now he's in doggy heaven better than ever! console.gif

And it's easy to blame yourself for something after this. But don't do it. He has passed and at this point just try to console each other.

Same thing happened to my neighbor's chihuahua, but that happened like a year ago..

Did you watch it get hit by the car ? That can be traumatizing (sp?).. but yeah, poor doggie. :[

Sorry to hear that. I have a pet rabbit that was hit by a car, and I kept blaming myself, even though it's not my fault. So, I got over it when I placed my favorite toy from him with me every night. flowers.gif Now I lost it. sad.gif Rest in peace, Chi-Chi! flowers.gif

No; they took off right after... that made it seem like they were trying to hit him.. :/
It just makes me want to... *hurt the driver badly* because they just took off...

My puppy was hit by a car too. It hurt...I was just 6 or 7.

I'm sorry though. You shouldn't blame yourself.

Aww hey now now... console.gif One of the puppies that my dog had got sick and died.. actually another one died a few days later. cry.gif PUPPIES....

RIP Chi Chi.

My boyfriend's ChowChow llived for 14 years and Tony woke up one morning and his dog was laying outside dead.. So sad.. cry.gif
