removing the very top [search] thing Options

is there a script that can remove the bar at the very top of every myspace? like the thing that has that search bar etc. i tried using this code

but it kept removing the ad even when i didnt type {hidden} for the iframe. >__< im so confused.

So what you are asking is how can you get the search bar hidden, and then ad still displayed?

what i also find odd when you change them all to hidden you get nothing BUT the ad shows

really? >< oh my. maybe the script doesnt allow hiding one thing and displaying another? i dont understand. i just dont want to remove the ad because i dont want my myspace deleted. if i cant remove the search bar, is there a way to change the colors of it? and the button?

I don't think there is a way to change the color of the button. i think there may be away that you can create your own button and have it as a div layer to exactly on the top of the one that is there now. I will look into the exact pos. of that in a few mins, but there is no way to change the color. Im still looking at all of the ways that i can change your code around to remove just the search bar. but there are so many diff variations.. although you would have to edit your profile in safe mode afterwords..

oh i see. hm, i can just forget about removing the search bar if its really hard to remove it! lols =) i appreciate you taking your time to help though! =] but what do you mean edit my profile into safe mode? thanks.

becuase with some of the variations that i have done, take away the submit button or the text box.. so safe mode allows you to still edit regurally. I think it will be easier to make a button that will be in a fixed pos to the one on there now. and just have it like that.
