There is this guy at my school. He is the type of person who is quiet if he doesn't care and loud around his friends. I have a slight crush on him and I would like to become friends with him. I'm not shy, and I'll make small conversation with him like, "hey, what's up?" I try to ask him about stuff that he likes. I talk to him, and he'll talk to me but he generally doesn't seem interested in what I have to say. At the talent show (we both performed) he seemed more open and what not, maybe because I was talking about his band with him.
I know that maybe I should just give up. If he doesn't like me maybe I should just stop trying. But people have always opened up to me. I don't have a hard time making friends so why is this so hard. Is it that he hates me, am I annoying, am I going about this the wrong way. I don't make stupid attempts like "Oh I love your binder." (yeah I know people who have used that excuse). I keep asking myself what I should do but I don't know anymore. That's why I am here. |

you should just keep on talking to him and learn more about him. hes not going to like you right away...so just get to know him more and maybe you'll become friends and eventually have a relationship

as long as you dont stalk him, its ok. try and make meaningful conversations with him and learn more about him. when you learn more about him, youll be friends. =]

keep with it. don't give up on this guy. try different subjects, maybe you'll get his attention. Or if all else fails, just walk up to him and be like 'do you want to be my friend?' and just smile reaaalll cute. =]

i agree with akinachan and DaToNeViEtBoI916. or... try to find his xanga or myspace or something lol. you can sort of make conversation from those... unless it'd sort of sound stalkerish
 but maybe you're just coming on too strong for him?

 maybe he just doesn't want a relationship right now or maybe he just wants to be friends or maybe you are so overly hawtt that he is intimitated by your looks?  i don't know him so i can't give you a very good answer but keep at it and until he says, "i don't like you so leave me alone!" okay?

I think maybe before you go and talk to him again, you should try and find out more about him maybe through his freinds, or relatives or w/e. try and find out about his interests anf things, think of a topic of conversation, then appproach him. if you just hang around him the whole time he might start to find you annoying. but definitely don't give up.

i know that this might not help you much (or maybe it might), but i'm kind of going through the same thing... (or somthing close to it). i would say just keep trying. oh, and i don't think that he hates you

well, try to find out if he actually does have a problem with you, maybe by going to his friends or something or actually asking him, but dont overtalk yourself.

Don't give up. Its great that you grab at every talking oppurtunity you get. Just dont push it. Maybe you could ask to hang out one day. Goto see a movie together (with friends of course)

Well if you really like him, you won't give up. Like as you said.. if he doesn't like you, then you'll give up. Just trying talking to him more and more about something new&interesting. Hehe. Or maybe ask for his sn or myspace and then you guys could talk and maybe in person too.
