^ well, doesn't that make sense? if you have fat covering your belly, your abs are going to be harder to see.

some people get theirs a little faster, on the way they eat and exercise. my friends got theirs in less than three months, by keeping up with their daily routine of health

It's a common misconception that there's a layer of fat covering the abdomen - in order to get a six pack, you'd have to lower your total percent of body fat. Just working on the abs won't get you there - that'll just strengthen your abdominal stamina. Or however you want to word it.

Lol. I'm 13 and I'm skinny. Weigh 81 lbs. Haha. I just do sit ups for about 1 month. Not even (since I'm skinny) It probably takes 3 weeks. I wouldn't of done my sit-ups if my dance class didn't require it.

i got a six pack in like, three weeks, just by doing sit ups every night.... its gone now, though. i got lazy.

mind you, i have like, no body fat at all, so that probably helped

yeah, i knew that... i guess the way i worded it made it sound like i didn't though? my fault. i meant if you have fat on your stomach region, you can have a six pack, but not be able to see it. that of course means that fat would have to be lost to see it, and you would do that by lowering your total body fat, as you mentioned. i don't understand how it's a common misconception though.

just be careful when you plan on getting abs... u dont just want to do sit ups and crunches and all that without dieting and trying to lose weight.. if u just do sit ups you will get a strong abs, but then you will grow a layer of fat over it, then muscle, then fat and in the end you will just have a big, strong, gut, no abs

HOOOOLLLLYYYY CRRRAAAAPPPP...

You can't possibly have 1.8% body fat percentage and even have the audacity to call yoruself healthy. Healthy is at least (VERY Least) 6%.

But yes, you can havelike 4 year old muscles, but if you have like 6-10% bodyfat percentage then your good. Just run....alot. Swimming works well too, my cuz swims and he's strong don't get me wrong. But his low body, I can beat him like nothing. But he has a 6 pack and I'm...well I digress.
