What is so great about California Distingnished School Award ? huh.gif I'm just want to know about my own school so i can have ideas to support it.

Whats good about it?! umm... my school got that last year. umm it shows that ur school is good? iono.. we got that then we qualified for this other award... that we also got... bleh all i know is that its good for ur school lol

let's see...distinguish makes the school look good i guess??my school got distinguish last year nd got blue ribbon this year[[i go to the same school as xlilazngrl592x]]

Nothing, really, unless you're a member of the SSC, the mayor, the principal, the teachers at your school, or some caring student that lives up to every honor and is dedicated to their school 100 percent. wink.gif

yeah true. our school (WMMS) got one like 3/4 years ago. isn't much of a big deal now. i think u get it because your school differs from others but i dont see how ours differs from others than the fact our middle school has no lockers and no gyms.

My school got that, but not like that. They got a blue ribbon award. It's like the top school in my whole state; Maryland.

i think it's like these ppl go around&look at the schools.
then everyyear, they pick 10 of the best schools&give them awards? huh.gif
not really sure, but when i my elementary school got it, we got blue popsticle sticks xb

Such an award can make a big impact on the school and the school's community. It makes the school look good and if you come from a distinguished school, employers and recruiters of any type will take a look at you over some people.

I know quite a number of schools that has "distinguished" awards plastered somewhere near the front entrance. No biggie.

well my school never got it. but we were on the news once because three kids brought a gun to school and planned to shoot someone.

I actually got a cupcake. And pudding. But only if I put ketchup on my burger. I didn't put any ketchup on my burger though. So I had to be sneaky and steal one. It was fun until I ate all my pudding. And I realized I didn't put any ketchup on my burger.
