Let's go at this by every class I have taken this year:

Biology: Learned more about diseases and how things affect our body.
Math: I want to say nothing, but I have gotten better at some things.
History: European history made me more prepared for U.S.
Lit: 99% nothing. But I did learn how to do lit crit better.
Psychology: Learned a LOT! All about different perspectives and disorders.
French: Definitely learned more when reviewing. Became more comfortable in the million tenses =)

Photo I: Learned the wonderfulness of photography. It is too awesome!
T.O.K. (Theory of Knowledge): NOTHING. A damn waste of my time.

This year I learned:
  • That I can bomb a socials test on pioneer Canada and still get into socials fair nationals.
  • That I can practice -2 minutes a day for band and still get into national music festival.
The REAL lesson learned: procrastination is worth it.

hmm..
christian ed. class can actually be interesting with a good teacher.
harder subjects somehow leads to better grades.
procrastination isn't all that bad.
physics is a pain in the butt.
spanish could be enjoyable, but with teachers like that, not really.
friends are the best.

I learned that you should not bring homemade "bombs" to school, even though the military will bail you out if you signed up for the National Guard earlier that year. XD
Yeah, Ricky is at Basic Training now, and only had to serve one day in jail for bringing a bomb (made by combining sunkist and the heating unit from an MRE) the last day of school. I <3 my friends. They make life interesting.

mellow.gif I learned that many people enjoy being two-faced, conceited, and creating rumours and spreading rumours for the fun of it. 'Tis what I learned in the course of the school year, lmao.
Focusing on school though - I learned more about puberty, how to glaze pottery, how to make a clay mug, and the after-effect of love.

i hardly learned anything myself.

no, really, when i think hard about it, the only class that i could say that i actually learned somthing in was my math class.

the classes at my school are poorly organized, and i was supposed to be in an honors english class, and they put me in a regular english calss, and made it impossible for me to swich out. i kind of found the regular class a waste of time because i had honors the previous year, and i basically went over the same exact crap, when i could have been more advance. everything else was just a blur.

If the question is "what did you learn at school this year"
Then I would say quite a lot. LOTS about chemistry and biology.
Especially biochemistry and mammalian physiology.
But if you ask " what did the teachers taught you this year"
Then I would probably say " NOTHING".......

I learned a lot, but the thing that sticks out most is the science definition "brackish" which means salt water & fresh water combined. i remember it becasue my dad said something about the water under the bridge we were driving over being brackish & i knew what it meant. biggrin.gif
