Okay, I thought I had my blogger sorted. How wrong I was. I can't get characters such as £ signs and vowels with accents to show up properly. It's driving me bonkers. I've tried changing the encoding, but all that did was make my template look ugly, the spacing on the characters went out the window. Is there any reason why blogger would keep on doing this to me?
StepDown Blog I got it working for about a day by adding... <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> ...and I tried an XHTML version of this as well, but now it's gone back to its old tricks. Any ideas? |

Okay, it's all okay now, sorry if I wasted anybody's time, all it needed was...
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<$BlogEncoding$>" /> ...in the <head> section, and now it's sorted. The template looks a big wrong now, needs some extra breaks and stuff, but other than that, it's right where I want it! |

Please don't double post - there is an edit feature on the top right corner of your original post. Seems your problem is solved though. :]
