I got a situation.
My g/f says that she likes me and all... But the things she says/does doesn't back it up. (I'm not saying she puts me down or says negative things to me...) But, when she talks, it sounds like she doesn't have that much interest in me... And its like, I gotta ask her, where she is in this relationship. WE talked about it before. And I asked... "why do you like me?" And she responds with... "I like you hun..." (in like a cute childs voice...) or when she does things throughout the day, she plains out just forgets about me. If she's not, I wish she could just mention that she misses me and what not. (we currently long distant, and I'll see her in a week or so...) *Sighs. I gave time, and tried to adjust, and we talked about it before, but her end of communication is really not clear. (And we talked about that too already) I was wondering, maybe the girls can tell me why shes acting like this? Or she just using me to fill time on her hands since she got nothing better to do... I dunno... I just want to feel like I wanted.. *Sighs... |

maybe your gf isn't that kind of girl that expresses how she feels openly. or maybe she just isn't ready or commited to this relationship. talk to her about it again, see what's going on or maybe ask her friends. long distance relationship is hard, i'm in one right now too. prolly when the two of you get together she'll be much different

^that was what i was thinking. some girls find it more difficult to tell people their feelings about them. just talk to her and ask her why shes doing this because it makes you uncomfortable (?)

Its wierd... I wish I could believe her 100% when she says she likes me, but her words, actions, etc doesn't back up what she claims... *Sighs... |

From what you've just said.....I don't think your girlfriend is that interested in you...but..if you want to be positive about this....then I guess...you could look at it as her having too much time or are too busy...either way...it says one thing: she doesn't have time for you or doesn't bother to make time. This is the point where you decide if you want to make a long distance relationship to someone who is not willing to commit themselves that much...or at least...as much as you. Talk to her again and be blunt about it...and if she still doesn't change...then just...move on and forget about her...and yes....I do think that she is being like this because she is using you to fill time on her hands....

some girls are like that but she may not be that intrested from what you just said. but to make sure is to ask her or her friends.

Maybe she has trouble with words, perhaps she's afraid that you'd ask if she loves you it might trouble her because she might be that kinda girl who doesn't say "love". It doesn't mean she's not interested perhaps just unexpressive.

She's probably too afraid to open up to you romanticly. In my last relationship I was too scared to do that with my boyfriend and he ended up getting really mad and dumping me. Now you really gotta get the fact that this is hurting you through her head. Sit down with her next time you see her face-to-face and tell her everything you're feeling.

okay.. there could be a lot of explanations. all girls aren't the same. we don't have the same rules or a certain way that we act.
she might be confused whether she likes you or not. she might like someone else and is trying to think through it clearly. she might be shy. maybe you're not showing her enough "love" that makes her feel secure to tell you. etc etc. maybe she just feels awdwark (sp) being around you. (if this is a recent relationship.) |

This has/is happening to me as well. We've been best friends for like 2 years but when I think about it, she didn't act like it. I mean I told people we were friends and unless she told them before they would just say "really?". Girls are sort of wierd like that, I assume they say one thing to make you happy just like you would do in said situation. Obligation is pressure.
