Well, it's really for this project but kinda not but it's a long story so I'll just shorten it:

Do you know any songs about death? sad.gif I know there's a lot but I can't think of any now.

One Sweet Day by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men

I think that's about death .. that's what my cousin told me and it does sound that way.

Depends on how you read into songs sometimes..

"Suicide and Other Comforts" - Cradle of Filth.
"Tattered and Torn" - Slipknot. (To an extent.)
"Wait and Bleed" - Slipknot.

Wow. I thought I could have come up with more. =/

MY DEATH-RELATED SONG LIST

A Perfect Circle - A Stranger (for personal reasons)
The Cure - Where The Birds Always Sing (for personal reasons)
Danzig - Dead Inside, Tired of Being Alive, Cantspeak
Deftones - Deathblow
Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumours (it's about suicide and death)
Iced Earth - I Died For You
Life Of Agony - Weeds
Marilyn Manson - The Death Song
Mortiis - Everyone Leaves (the ultimate depression/death song)
Nine Inch Nails - La Mer, The Great Below (they're just haunting.)
Type O Negative - Everyone I Love Is Dead

*Not all of these songs are about death. Some are about suicide, some are about depressions, some are just very gloomy....All are beautiful

Oh god >.>....

That disgusts me, I'm sorry. But.... that's ... just.... I don't even know what to say.

Anyways..... there are PLENTY of songs about death. There is even a genre of music called DEATH metal.

Ohio Is For Lovers - Hawthorne Heights
Basically anything from Cradle of Filth?
Day That I Die - Good Charlotte
My Immortal - Evanescence

Dude, try Death Metal like JlIaTMK said.

Hm....

Hawthorne Heights - Ohio is for Lovers. I don't know if that song is about death. But the music video sounded like it. It started with a girl, then an old grandma.

But anyways... how about

Chemical Romance - "Helena"
It's a good song and when he sings it... he cries. I don't know if that song is about a death song but it looked like it because of his music video. It's a great song for someone who is dead too.

Yes..

Short meaning of "Wait and Bleed": A man dreams that he is dying in a bathtub from cuts to the wrist. As the song progresses, he faces reality (or wakes up) and realizes he isn't dreaming. So he awaits his death. Hence the title, he waits and bleeds.

Well, no.
Songs like "Surfacing" and "People = Shit" and "The Heretic Anthem" are their pissed off songs. They're not about death.
Some of their other songs are about going insane.
"Iowa" and "Vermilion Part One" and "Vermilion Part Two" are kind of... really twisted love songs.

So, no. I realize you said "j/k," but not all of their songs are about death, suicide, self-mutilation, homicide, or anything like that.

That's a good one.
There are many. The first thing that came to my mind was songs by SOTY, though none of them are actually about dying.

Sorry for posting on a dead board, but I just wanted to point out that Ohio Is For Lovers is kind of about death.

"Cut my wrists and black my eyes"
"You never stop until my final breath is gone"
"Spare me just 3 last words"

Lines from that song. Kind of refer to death. The video has nothing to do with it. *shuts up* pinch.gif
