im pretty sure many of ya'll have done surveys and u seen this question
"1 best friend or 10 acquaintances" i would pick 10 acquaintances thats cuz i believe that....ur best friend will leave u somehow...and so i rather pick 10 acquaintances..what bout u? |

i would pick one best friend. acquaintances are more likely to turn their backs on you then one best friend. i would want someone i could talk to without having to worry about what they will saya to someone else about me.

I'm one of those people who don't need to be surrounded by many friends/people/acquaintances. I'd rather have one best friend. Yea the other people who replied are right -- best friends are trustworthy. I mean, yea sure in the future, you two might not be best friends anymore, but there will be other people.. and if not, then it's okay. Be independent then. :]

why would your best friend leave you? if you chose aquaintances, they would leave you for their best friends. duh.

Well...a best friend is usually really special to you. I've had 2 best friends before..one since I was 8 and one since I was 11. (14 now). So I think a best friend...is a permantent friend usually. I've rarley been in fights with them before.
However...aquaintances always have the possibility of developing into bigger friendships. I think I would pick the aquaintances because then they can eventually turn in to 10 good friends.. |

I really would want a best friend more than 10 people I say hi and bye to them every now and then. And I know how that feels when you dont have a best friend. |

definitely one best friend, its a lot better than 10 aquaintances i think...i'd prefer one closer friend that more people i don't get along with or know as well.

Aren't you suppose to pick the best friend, because I know I would. If it was a best friend they wouldn't leave you. Aquiantences could walk out that door whenever they like.

I'd rather have one best friend. Usually best friends will be by your side no matter what. Acquantainces will come and go, but your best friend will still be there.

Those 10 aqquaintances may be people I'm not close to or comfortable to but my best friend would be a person I can count on. |
