ok- its almost car time for me! i'll be 16 in september so a car is right around the corner. i'm trying to be really sure about what i want. my dad loves the vw bug. i think he wants me to like this car so bad. i really do like it but, i just cant picture myself in it. I like it more and more everytime i think about it and a car is better than none so i guess my questions are...
1. what do yall think about them? 2. what are the best colors? 3. are they a good car overall? do they run well? last long? |

well a car is a car... I mean your not paying for it, you shouldnt even have a privilege to complain about... But my neigboor has a black one and it runs really nicely and its at like 150k miles...

1. i like them alot. my mom has one and it is so fun to ride in.
2. i think the best colors are dark blue, deep red, silver or the color my mom has, yellow.  3. yes, they are a really good car overall. my gets like 330 miles to the tank....or something like that...but just keeps going on and on about how many miles she gets.

fine.. the car is not gay but its cute but not for me. i think that the car is too cute to be on the road and should just be driven around by all people who wear colorful clothing and wear red foam balls on their noses, with make up on and are called clowns. |

2 - I love the green ones, so cute. But the red are awesome too. They look like ladybugs!  3 - I think they last long... there are enough of them on the road, so they must be pretty safe, right? |

1. I think they're the black sheep of the car industry. Like the scion xb, w/ it's funky shape. I like it, but i wouldnt drive it-sort of girly.
2. I think a really bright ass color, would look sweet on that car. Abstract color w/ an abstract car. ;p 3. Volkswagen has an okay record of safety. Go check it out on the National Highway and Traffic Safety website or something. They have all the crash tests of most cars. P.S: If it were me, i'd just get the new 05 Jetta, it looks BANGING. ;p |

I think bugs are the cutest. If I was to get one I would like a metallic blue one. My suitemate has a bug and it drives really well and is fun to drive. The backseat space is a joke though unless your a little kid. Overall its a good car.

i think they rock.
 mind you, i'm biased...my mom drives a grey 2004 one  we had a silver 2000 one before, but then we got this one. i quite like it myself and it drives rather nicely.

VW Bug turning and cornering really sucks because of it's high center of gravity. If I were driving one, I'd probably crash cause it can't turn. So no bug for me... However, the new Jetta has nice cornering

they're death traps! if you ever got into an accident in one of them with a huge SUV, then you'd be DEAD. plus, i think they're uglyyyy as hell....yeah they'd be nice as your first car though. (like if you're only driving to school and nearby places)
