Calling Someone, What's a good topic? Options

Well i like this girl and i FINALLY got her cell phone number. She told me it. but now if i want to call her, what should i say. i'm not good at talking with girls. do i talk about school or something? please help.

well i bet it's nerve racking to figure out what you should talk about. my advice though.. would have to be just don't think about it until you're actually talking to her on the phone. it'll be easy, don't worry and call her.

if you had to pester her for her cell number, then ignore below.
if you're already pretty good friends with her, then pay attention.
talk, talk, talk about a movie coming out that you're both interested in, and ask her out.

just .. keep talking .. if you gett into a topic .. talk about what's coming up .. like a school dance .. or a party .. or some special event .. ask if she's going .. BUT JUST KEEP TALKING .. tha worse that can happen is an " odd silence " ..


ask her how her day went/is going ..
talk about what you did today ..
something funny that happened that day ..

Ask her about things that she's into. If you like her that much, you should know some things about her. Yes 3-waying isn't the way to go. Yep people get left out. Not to mention that it's REALLY awkward. It's an A and B conversation. Plus, she MIGHT be into you! And it'll be a lot easier for her to tell you how she feels if one of her friends isn't there to make fun of her or gossip or anything. ;]

oh god.. i had like the exact same problem before with this guy... we were good friends n we chat all the time on AIM. n yet when i call him, there's always an awkward silence.. my mind like goes blank n i cant come up with a single topic. BUT i've learned from it. the key is just wat jnukes said, KEEP TALKING!

just talk. dont worrie about it so much. dont be thinking "omg wat do i say now? if i say this, would i sound stupid? would she think im weird if i say this?"

talk about something you have in common.
ask her about her day.
have a class together? say something funny that happened in there.
ask her about things she likes. (sports, music, etc etc)
ask her wat she might be doing this weekend.
talk about ANYthing... just dont let there be an awkward silence.

Well call her, most likely she'll be like "Heey! Whats up?" then you go can nothing just watching ______ and she'll be like ooh I love that show! And if the conversation gets DEAD then say "Crap my moms home, got grounded from the phone today! Bye talk to you later!"

just go with the flow. no need to plan on what you say. call her up. say the hellos and what not. and say whats up? what you doing. and go from tehre.

hmm...i used to hate the phone now i <33 to talk to jason,mary,stina, and bob on it =). nisa's no fun to talk to over the phone lol.

just ask her about her family and stuff idk ask her something and it should get a convo rolling
