Someone had answered that in the thread you made about it. You can get a free invision fourm at http://www.invisionboard.com/ . What I meant was that Invision Board forums use php and http://www.phpbb.com is also a forum, but it uses php too. So, you can't do anything about it.

PHP is a server-side, cross-platform, HTML embedded scripting language that lets you create dynamic web pages. PHP-enabled web pages are treated just like regular HTML pages and you can create and edit them the same way you normally create regular HTML pages.

To use the IB script, you must pay $69.95.

There is a free TRIAL version available, but you're limited to the following:

You can use whatever you want for your website, IF you have your own domain or if you are hosted.

If you are on a site where you just signed up for space, like virtue.nu or geocities, you can not create your own forum ON the site. You need to create a remotely hosted forum.

Try these links:
http://www.forumco.com
http://www.ezboard.com
http://www.coolboard.com
http://www.boardhost.com
http://www.homepagetools.com

Go to the website to see if you can!
No need to let everyone do the work for you.

most likely youll have to have your own domain to get your own forum.

using other sites for msql you have to find a site that will give you free msql hosting.

if you really want a forum i would do what ^ said and look @ http://invisionfree.com/ . they have free forums . no you cant put them on your site but you can put a link to the forum on your site and call it "my forum" and what not and it will direct people there its almost the same thing as haveing you forum on your site.
