I agree with you that the controller looks cool because of its futuristic appearence, but thats not my main concern. My concern with the control is whether or not its suitable and easy to use while playing games.

As far as the outside looks of the console, Nintendo's Revolution owns them all, but that will not factor into my decision of getting a PS3 although the price is $465(Better start saving up now). Playstation makes the more mature and better games hands down. Although Nintendo Claims this time around they will aim towards a variety of consumers, Im still in disbelief they will follow through on their words.

I just saw that Final Fantasy VII Remake Tech Demo. Why would squaresoft do something like that to me. Just making it a Tech Demo but not making it into a game.

Even though each one of these consoles have amped up the graphics, I still have to say the most important aspect to the playability of a game is the gameplay. I can still enjoy Final Fantasy VI on my SNES Emulator.

Last thing: I think this could be it for Nintendo no matter how legendary the system is. If this really does happen I will be really sad because console makers are slowly getting weaved out as we go, Just like SEGA and ATARI. Just my oppinion.

Nintendo is nowhere NEAR destruction. One system cant take them out.

Think about it this way, if Final Fantasy The Spirits Within couldnt take down Square, ONE system wont take down a legacy of good ones from Nintendo. I mean common, even the Virtual Boy didnt hurt that much.

again, i have doubts that the seven ports in the bluetooth piconet are exclusively for controllers. xbox will be able to connect to your home theatre system wirelessly, so I suppose that at least one of the devices will be for that. so i assume ps3 will probably do the same or something similar.

Well Im sure, but they did say at the e3 press conference that you could hook up to 7 wireless controllers to it. So theres really no debating that.

EDIT: Ok, so I couldnt find the video I saw that said that. Youre probably right because as soon as I opened up my latest GamePro and read the 360's article it said it supported 4 wireless controllers.

EDIT 2: Ok, after watching about 45 minutes of the Sony press conference, I have infact confirmed that it can support up to 7 wireless controllers. I tried to take a screen shot, but it wont work for some stupid reason. You make very valid explanations about the PS3.
Well initially i was excited about that KILLZONE game but when I looked at the footage over a 100 times I realized theres no way in **** that could be in Real-Time. I realized cetain things just looked scripted rather than natural in the game.
I know I just said its all about gameplay but to build my hopes up like that is just not funny.

Anyways the games Im really excited about are

1. Final Fantasy VII( if it gets remade)
2. Tekken 6
3. Gears of War
4. Devil May Cry 4

The only reason I want go with Nintendo Rev. or XBOX 360 is because of my love for the Final Fantasy series and RPGs themselves.
Trust me, I used to be a hardcore nintendo fan back in the SNES days until they lost their contract with square after FFVI i think it was. I would love to see another FF for the nintendo where it actually belongs but until then Im locked with PS systems. Crystal Chronicles and FF tactics advance wasn't a bad start for Nintendo.

1) VII WONT be remade. S-E pres said it himself.
2) I never believed for a second that the stuff was in game graphics at all. Everything looked exactly like a cutscene, and then they could magically go through and look at everything in different angles. Blah. As I noted before, they used a PS2 controller for the demos. Hahaha.

3) Darn skippy Final Fantasy belongs on Nintendo consoles. Crystal Chronicles is a great game, and Tactics Advance great too. I cant wait for CC DS and the impending Revolution version!

I think the people are prepared for a 100 dollar price jump. Games have been going up, and as such, systems will follow. And I wholeheartedly believe that hoards of gamers will pay 400 bucks for a PS3, and even bigger hoards of parents will.

You know that's not the ps3 in action. It's not the actual PS3 hardware, because it hasn't even been completed. I'm not even sure if the graphics card is done.

Not to mention, those are only demos, not actual games.

PS3 ports will be more difficult to make. Just as I had said earlier, Cell makes it difficult for developers to program for.

i personally like the controller design, looks unique. the bottom will probably not be totally smooth so it wont just slip right out.
as for the price, sony wants you to "work more hours"
but seriously, dont u have enough time to get money? from here to spring is pretty much half a year, and even at 5 bucks a day you should have enough for it when it comes out

The controller looks awful. The segmented arrows aren't even put on straight.

I don't care if I can make enough money for it. That money could be going towards better things. I don't think the PS3 can provide me with $700 worth of entertainment.

If you want it bad enough, you'll find some way to pay for it. Personally, I don't think it's worth it yet (maybe if they get a lot of must have games and drop the price, I'll consider it). If the PS3 doesn't get attractive a few months after launch, then I'm picking up a PS2 instead.
