I'm planning on going into elementary education, and I'm looking for a job for the summer. (Paid or volunteer, doesn't matter)
I was wondering if any one know of what companies around the New York City area that are related to tutoring kids or a counselor, etc? Such as "The Boys & Girls Club" or the "YMCA"? I can't think of ne more~ Thanks all!

Call YMCA or Boy and Girl scouts see if they have affiliates. |

I would say it's a little late to go to the Y for a job. YMCAs have summer day camp and will need many counselors, but camp is starting soon and I think training was weeks ago.
You could always try. Maybe they'll take late applications... then again, maybe camp starts later for them than YMCAs in Houston. |
