Gosh darnit.
So afterschool my friend Lauren (xldubalicious) and I went to buy that Lorea Color Pulse which is hair dye that washes out in 8-10 shampoos. Yeah we were so exited because we got a super bright color. Soo theennn we dyed and and after all of it. I saw the results and I was furious  . My hair looked EXACTLY the same. Roar what a waste of six bucks. I was so mad. next time..I'm going to try purple or orange so it will show up on my dark ass hair. Yeah and during the summer we're going to try BLONDE just to see. Yeah =PAnyways, have you guys ever done anything to your hair like cut it or dyed it or whatever and didn't get the results you expected? Like it looked horrible or just the same? yeahh.

Aww, that sucks.
 Well, yeah..I just got my hair cut this week, and when I saw it, I really hated it. Everyone else said it was nice, but it wasn't to me. I'm starting to like it A LITTLE more now. Hopefully, I'll grow into it.

once i wanted to try purple but it ended up having some parts blue and some purple then it became like a silver purple which i kinda liked but maybe i shoulda mixed it better? hahaha

i dont think any kinda of semi-permanent hair dye will work on hair as dark as yours. my hair is dark blonde and i used a copper colored semi-permanent hair dye and it turned out ok. but my friends that tried it with me have dark hair and you couldnt see it at all.

oh my, yes.
it was just yesterday. i bought some hair color called chocolate carmel (yum), which is like a medium-dark brunette color. however, i seem to have a problem with my hair. no matter how i color it, it comes out tinted red. my mom has the same problem. now my hair is reddish-auburn. i feel so artificial.

No not me personally but my exboyfriend did. It's freaking hilarious. He has naturally dark brown hair and he wanted to go blonde. So he didn't know you had to bleach your hair first so he just dyed it and it came out like some weird goldish-orange color. It looks horrible.

I dyed my hair purple, well got it done, and since my hair's been so many different colors, it came out like gray-ish, and it looked really faded, it was bad.

yea.. when i was getting my highlights done the hair lady said she had to first dye my whole hair 1 color and do the highlights from there. so she dyed my hair black and she did some light highglights which looked like it was white.. i hated it.

I've never really dyed my hair before .. there was one that would get out of your hair once you wash it ... it was blue. It didn't really show.

I dyed my hair jet black , but I didnt like it THAT black but its fading so much my blonde streaks and brown is showing through.

What I would try first, is to bleach your hair to make it lighter, and then use your desired color.
It might have a better result.... I think

I've never dyed my hair. Maybe I'll try dying it a lighter brown when I'm older so my mom won't kill me if I try it now. |

i dyed my hair with my friend. it sorta came out the same. My ahir is really thick and dark. I told her to get 2 bottles, but she disagreed and said "noo, you only need one, trust me"
did it work? no. Maybe ext try you should try 2? When i get it in salons, they use up 2 bottles. |

Hasn't happened to me because my mom won't let me change my hair at all. The biggest change was when I got it layered o_O;
I know someone who meant to dye their hair brown, but after a few days it turned purple.. But I guess that's it.

In 7th grade, I wanted to add a red tint. So I dyed my hair red and it turned out like Ariel off of the little mermaid. It was horrible

But I've joked around with some friends and asked them what they would do if I dyed my hair blonde, and they said that they wouldn't be my friend anymore ;x |

Everytime I get my hair cut, I always hate it. As for getting my hair dyed, I had it done in vietnam (asia does such a better job of coloring your hair) and the color turned out really bright, but it looked sooo good.

actually not really. all the hair changes i've got was an actual hair change with a different result. but of course some of them werent good. like my past haircuts and hair dyes..
i need to redye my hair black. something like jet black or was it called electric back. im not sure. |
