Omfg. I hate it when my mommy starts telling other people about what I did wrong. I'm like, duuude, that's not even their business. Bragger.
For example, I'm only 12 and my sister does all the laundry. So, one day, my sister teaches me how to do the laundry so I can try doing it myself one day. So yeah, she taught me. A few days later, I was washing my own load of clothes. I did exactly what my sister taught me. So then, my mommy came and she saw how I did it, she was like, "NOOO! THAT'S NOT HOW YOU DO THE LAUNDRY!". I was like, "But that's how (my sister's name here) taught me." Then she goes and does the laungry FOR me. Then, when she was done putting all the clothes in the washing machine, she goes upstairs to my dad's room and tells MY DAD about how "irresponsible" I am. I'm like, wtf. It's not even his problem. He has nothing to do with it. I feel so pissed off when she does that. Does your mom act like that? |

Wow.. that sucks... Jeez... You should talk to her about it.
My mom (my parents are divorced) has to deal with my brothers (three of them) and I'm the only girl. So she doesn't really care what I do as long as its not like.. really slutty or really stupid. |

Yep, my mum does that to me.
 She talks about my period to everyone! Even my neighbors!  Everyone knows about it already in my neighborhood. Also, when I *accidently* knocked down a cup and broke it, she told my whole family of how stupid and klutzy I am. But oh well, mothers will be mothers.

My grandma SORTA acts like that.. it's different because after she does my laundry for me, she yells at me later on about how I DON'T do my laundry. That pisses the shxt out of me. And it's not even JUST about laundry either.. And I like doing laundry..

fanopre My older brother (24yrs.) is like that more than my mom is. If I do one little thing wrong he gets all mad and yells... so then when I yell back, then he goes and tells my mom. That's why I hate visiting him. He has to tell everyone about one little mistake I did

just confront her one day.. and be like it makes me really angry when you tell my business to everyone. you're my mom and i thought i could trust you.. and for the laundry stuff say.. well i DID try to do it on my own its not my fault that i didnt do it perfect the first time..

my mom doesn't really do that but whenever i spend the weekend at my aunt's house, she used to ALWAYS go tell everyone about what i had done wrong and it used to piss me the fcuk off!
 i don't understand why she can't just get mad and me and then forget about it! she just has to broadcast it all over the goddamn household! >=|

parents do that a lot...i can't stand it...but i've learned to adapt to it...i ignore it if i can.

I don't get though, if you tell someone how bad your child is, aren't you making yourself looking bad? That tell the person that you did a lousy job of raising them. |

my mom pretty well stays out of my life, well.....she will ask how my day was and stuff like that, but if i do something stupid or whatever she doesnt go and tell everyone. im 20
so hopefully when you get a lil older she wont do it as much. |

That happens to me too, Kelly. I do something wrong and she talks at night over the phone with her friends saying how bad i am. At times my mother would brag about my cousins and how nice and considerate they are. They aren't and I told her it was 'cause they had company (us) over. Ugh.. she still doesn't understand..

My mom's not really like that... but when I was really little I was a REALLY bad little girl.
Haha really. I would do all these bad things, and my mom would tell all of her friends and stuff. It sucks. Haha. But it's funny I guess... lol 'cause when I was 6 I beat up ALL these people.  Yeah. I's a baaad little kid. |
