Suddenly, I got interested about astronomy.
 Anyway, NASA approved that the first trip for people to stay in space will be between 2015 to 2020. Also, they sent machines and probes to Mars to prepare Mars ready for humans. If you have a chance to go into space, would you go, or stay in Earth?It would be a pleasure to live in Space. I can see what Earth looks like in Space, and look at the stars gleaming upon my face. Also, I can play around in the Space Station such as floating around, playing with my food, and playing football, since there is no gravity in Space. How wonderful would it be to live and to die in Space. That'll be the greatest experience in my life.

wowww. ever since science, i only went beyond the curiosity(sp?) of the black holes.. wow. you got me wondering about this now. |

I wouldn't want to go. >.<
Imagine if your oxygen supply suddenly gets cut off. And you'll be left in space, without any air or place to go. Imagine if you float into space and die..... Argh, I think too much. |

thats really cool. but i wouldnt want to go. i wouldnt be able to stay there for years. maybe a week or so before i start feeling homesick.

I would never live in space. Well maybe if we knew like there Earth was going to explode, so everyone's like rushing to the moon or something.
But I hate the thought of space. This unkown life..black wholes. The whole thought of everything outside of Earth, it freaks me out. I'm learning about this in science right now, and it's..scary. Maybe..that's just me being ignorant. |

Your legs will deteriorate and your upper body will get buffer. Would you want that? We really don't have a way to have artificial grav. We do have that little trinket that looks like a table and spins around causing Gs but, that's bulky. ( no, not a centrifuge. ) So go ahead, dude. Go live in space. I'll be fine here on earth walking with my legs.
 Also, for those scared of black holes: You really don't need to be scared to go to space because of black holes. If there's one near the Solar System, you'd be dead out there or on here. So.. no need to fear. Although, without adequate protection, you will get severely pwned by radiation due to solar flares and whatnot. So that should scare you. BTW, I really don't think space stations, living in space, yadayadayda has anything to do with astronomy.  Go get a telescope.- Solipsist |

wow how fun! i've always thought i'd be cool to go to the moon, but live out there? that's a bit exetreme, i'd probably get homesick. but i'd like to visit!!

i dont know...i mean being in space would be very cool, but only for like a day or so
 i would miss everyone on earth and probably miss earth itself. no/less gravity would probably feel cool though |

i would def do it!!! it would be soo much fun! but the only problem would be leaving most of my family and probably all of my friends. but i do think that playing tennis in space would be totally AWESOME!

i'd only go if it was completely identical to every aspect of earth, including people and such. so probably not. |

Aw man when John Glenn returned to space, I wanted to be an astronaut and at least be a part of the first manned Mars mission...I guess I got interested in it because I live where the Space Shuttles were assembled. (got to see the Endeavor and the late Columbia) and of course I grew out of that...
 Anyhow I would love to but it would even be better if I got to be a part of a Space Shuttle mission and get those snazzy patches. Anyhow I wouldn't stay long...maybe just the duration of a shuttle mission, I mean I don't wanna have my bones degrade...  Nowadays I just think of it as something interesting, though not like a career as an astronaut but who knows...if I do pursue the medical field and select aerospace medicine as my practice, I might have a chance...and it better not be in Spaceship One, as much as I admire it...

Well if I had nothing to do in this earth, I would go out there in space and live there. But I would just live there for like 4 or 5 years then go back... well I would love to help build homes there.

i went on a field trip to the high school a nd we talked to thsi lady Katrina that was in the space thing in Virgina. She said that they would be going to Mars on 2020. It takes 7 months to get there. I was like woa! I want to go and stay there for like 2months or so.
