I won't spend over $20 on shirts and $30 on jeans. For shoes, maybe $60 at the most.. only if they're really nice and good quality, but I don't buy shoes often anyway. What about you?

My friends are so crazy. They buy jeans for $70-$80. One of them has five pairs of sevens.. $200 each! blink.gif When I told them my jeans were only $20.. they were like "Wtf? They sell jeans that cheap?" and I felt all poor and stuff pinch.gif But whatever. I don't buy all brand name clothing just to be "in" and crap. I'm good with shopping at department stores laugh.gif

Sorry if there's a topic on this already.

I usually buy whatever I like and looks good on me, which turns out to be pretty cheap. But whenever I see a shirt that is over 40 bucks, I leave it alone. happy.gif

I always look for sales. You can find good stuff and it doesn't cost that much, so good for me! Sometimes they look bad on the rack, but good on you (or vice versa), so you never know. I think on shirts my limit's $20. Pants $20. Sweaters/jackets/hoodies/etc $45. Shoes $30. Hats/caps $20. Accessories $10. Yeah.. I'm pretty cheap. I've never bought any piece of clothing over $30. rolleyes.gif

I don't like to buy shirts that are over $12.
If it's like a blouse or a nice top, then maybe under $30 at most.

Yeah.. and everything else just comes and goes. I wait till it gets on sale, for clothes.

Shirts... Eh, usually no more than twenty dollars.
Pants.. Probably about thirty dollars? I'm not even sure.
Shoes.. Fourty to fifty. I only like Converse anymore, so I don't have to worry about spending more than fourty dollars on shoes.

*shrugs*

My parents still buy most of my clothes, so I don't really have to worry about it too much.

It really depends on how much I like the shirt. Like if I find 2 shirts I sort of like...for $10..That I probably wouldn't wear much, but look at the price!...I would definitly choose one $25 nice shirt over that. Because it would be better quality most likely, and I'd wear it more. I don't know if that really made since..

But yeah I'd rather pay more for 1 nice quality shirt...then cheap for a shirt I'd never want to wear and wouldn't last long..

>.< I think I went off topic.

on a shirt... depending on what kind, usually $30 is the absolute limit. sweaters, $50 max. the most expensive jeans i've gotten were about $35. i havent really looked at abercrombie (the stores scare me ph34r.gif laugh.gif) or hollister or anything, but they're like at least $70? so i probably wouldnt be able to buy those either ermm.gif but they look like they're worth it. i dont get shoes often. the most probably $50 whistling.gif

I dont have a limit on shirts , really.
Because I mean, I know that i dont have to spend 50 bucks on a shirt. Since i can get awesome ones for under 10.
&Pants, 40 bucks i guess.

But Jackets I'll go to about 50.
&shoes, um, 50 as well.

since i`m only 14 and still growing my limit is:
tops = 30 or less
jeans = 40 or less
shoes = less than 100

but when i get older and stop growing, i`m prolly gonna get expensive stuff & worthy prices as well. =]

It depends whether or not I have the cash. If my car insurance ($220) is paid for and my phone ($55) is taken care of, oh and my weekly spending on food and other things ($50) then money is no object.

The most I've paid for kicks were $300 for the Gucci shoes I wore to prom. I've bought a $120 Burberry shirt, a $1100 suit for prom [that I got on sale for 700] a pairof Paper Denim & Cloth jeans for $120 and a pair of Gucci shades for like $260. I don't splurge that often though.

i aim to spend no more than 10,000 USD a week on clothes.

(yea... not really)

i'm not rich. therefore:

shirts- 15 dollars
nice shirts (dress/ formal)- 20 dollars
jeans and pants- 30 dollars
shoes- 75 dollars (hey, you wear them all the time)

hmmm... i have a variety of cloths in my closet... ranging from xpensive to really cheap ones i got from the flea markets. i guess what's important isn't relaly the price tag attatched to the garment but the actual fit and style of it. hm... but i beleive that there's 3 things that are worth investing depite the price- shoes, jackets & handbags. those 3 are the essesntials! esp shoes, if u wear cheap shoes, they'll give u alot of feet problem, like blisters, cons, rough heels..

I don't think it's worth it to buy t-shirts at $19, but I can't resist it and I just buy them.
For t-shirts, my limit is $25. Pants, $30. Jackets, just not above $55. Shirts I really want, just as long as they're not more than $35. For shoes, no more than $65. Even though I say all this, I'm actually MUCH MUCh cheaper. AHHAHA.

I won't spend more than 15 dollars on a top. Unless it's really nice and I have to have it. I wont spend more than 25 dollars on jeans, and shoes it depends. But I'm not going to go out and buy 100 dollar shoes. I'm not a shoe gal anyway.

15-20 dollars on a shirt...
25-30 on jeans.
20-30 on a skirt.

My cousin bought a skirt for like 60$'s... I mean it's not even covering all of her thighs and she's paying that much? I honestly think I coulda made that cheaper...

I don't like to spend anymore than $1 on a shirt. More than that, and I just know Goodwill is ripping me off.

However, I will admit that I do, on occasion, spend twenty times that amount on a pair of jeans, and my shoes might cost as much at twenty times that amount, too.

I'll buy pants I really like that I know will last me more than a year for $50. I can't bring myself to spend more than $40 on shoes and thats pushing it. Unless they'd be combat boots. Those I'd buy if I had the cash. I'll spend up to $20 on a shirt maybe. I'm really a sales kinda girl. $36 skirt on clearance (making it half that price) when there was a half off clearance sale. It was my dream come true.

I don't have a limit when it comes to clothing and shoes. My dad pays all the stuff I buy at the mall. My mom and brother gives me their credit cards, so I buy stuff online most of the time. If I like something, I would definitely buy it no matter how much it was. I guess I'm lucky 'cause my family is kinda generous in terms of money.

I can only buy certain types of pants because I am short, have a tiny waist and and butt but no hips. So I spend about $70-$100 on jeans.

Shirts are usually under $25 depending on how much I like it

Shoes are usually under $200 because I happen to have a mild obsession with shoes

and dresses I usually go all out. If i need a dress for an special occasion I dont care how much it costs (score for having 3 jobs!). yeah the most I have ever spent on a dress is $4,563 on a versace dress for State Finals. whistling.gif

I don’t really have a limit, but if I bought a really cheap shirt like…6 dollars then I could buy some pants for like 30 bugs. Kind of even things out.

Pants - $60
Shirts - $25
Shoes - $75

But it depends if I need the stuff. Because I have to earn my money working, and my parents don't buy me clothes anymore.

If it's worth the money, I just buy it. Like, if I saw a white t-shirt with a bird and I liked it but it was like $50, I'd be like oh hells no! But if a one of a kind shirt with a cool design and a cool print and it was like $55 and I KNEW I would wear it, I'd be like yesss. It's like that macy's commercial said or something, price of shoes divided by number of times worn = real price. Except that I use that concept for everything not just shoes. :)

Depends on how much money I have at the time. The most I've spent on one top was $60, but it was really nice. The most I've spent on jeans is $50. Regularly, I don't go over $25 for shirts and $40 for jeans.

With shoes, I'll definitely go up to a $100, but that's about it.
