Ok, first of all, I don't know if this should be posted here. Ok, so here's this thing...it's about the teachers I have. It can be said as 'student and teacher' relationship, but this one's more like a grudge against me or some sort of picking on my buisness. I don't know what on EARTH has gone to her, but she picks on me like hell. I am getting Cs for tests I've studied my butt off, and assignments I've tried my very, ever best to do. I'm getting Cs with all these other people that don't do homework, sleep in tests, and just f**k around the classroom. And I'm just like, WTF???

I make so much effort in class and at home about it but it never gets recognized. I got As all through my junior years and there's seriously something to do with this teacher. My mum has seen my work and she thinks they're perfectly fine and she can SEE that I give a lot of effort in it.

WHY AM I GETTING ALL THIS crap from the teacher??? Why do they all hate me? sad.gif cry.gif I don't mind getting Cs if I don't study, but I DO, and I CARE about my grades, for cripes sake. sad.gif

IF its on your tests, make sure she made the mistake and that you didn't make the mistake.

Also, if she doesn't think you aren't trying hard enough, TRY harder. Use this analogy, Its like putting all your effort in a book and hitting her over the head with it.

Show all your effort in your work and make sure the work shows that effort has been put in it.

i think you should go to your school administrator (principal or someone higher than the teacher) and talk it over with them. NEVER go up to the teacher and ask him directly unless 1) you have the guts and 2) you can prove him wrong right at that moment

you didnt mention what subject this teacher teaches, so i'll just pretend it's english. maybe you can ask another enligh teacher to grade your stuff and then tell you parents that the other teacher gave you this grade while you teacher gave you a lower grade. talk to an adminstrator if the grades are different. but the other teachers might not grade it, which might be a problem...

just because you try hard doesnt mean you are going to get an A...i could spend a week working on a project and try my hardest, but it could turn out to be a POS and i'll get a C..it depends on how well you do your work..but personally..i think you should just ask the teacher whats up..

Ask your teacher for a meeting after class, just the two of you, and be an adult about it. Try not to be confrontational, but ask if she can tell you how to improve your grades (or, if it is a specific assignment, ask if she might take one more look at it).
If she still grades you unfairly, assuming that is what she is doing, then tell your parents. If she continues, you and your parents should inform an administrator (though before going to that extreme, you may want to have a meeting with her and your parents).

Like someone else mentioned, working hard does not mean it will come out perfectly. Maybe your work IS C-work. Do not assume the teacher is "picking" on you. She does not give out grades, you earn the grade you get.

Confront your teacher about your work, and ask what the problem might be. Maybe you're concentrating too much on a particular part of the work, and not enough on another.

It's silly and inane to think a teacher would GIVE out grades to you, and bad grades nonetheless.

I seriously doubt your teachers are intentionally giving you low scores/grades.

wow that bits...i totally feel ur pain pinch.gif
i remember when i had a horrible horrible teacher one year for English. it was plain torture, i just sucked it up and waited for next year. (turns out i started getting As again, so proves my point about the unjust teach)
however from what i've heard, u should seriously talk to your councillor(s) about this issue. even though from my past experiences, they are not much help, i still suggest u give it a try. always better than nothing right?
good luck with it all _smile.gif
p.s. i strongly disagree on some of the others who commented, even though i haven't seen any of your work or markings, to me u sound like a hard working kid. the way i see it, with the efforts you put in, there should be rewards given accordingly.

That's not true at all.

When it comes to school, working hard does not always mean a good grade.
Education is a different ballgame when it comes to working hard and receiving awards.

It is time, for my real advice post.

Okay, so there a problem with the teacher? Hmm, how can you have C's on your tests if you claim you study your ass off? Okay, first off, what kind of class is this? No matter, in any class. If you make a mistake on the test, the teacher WILL mark it. If not, question her. Those assignments you turned in SHOULD be perfect points. Those should guarentee at least a B. Unless of course, your teacher is like me and tests are worth 75% of your grade.

If there ar eno marks on the test, ask her. If she doesnt answer, ask the principal and get parents involved. When parents are invovled, the school surrenders to your every bidding.
