I don't browse the food subforum (located under Interests) a lot... but it seems that there are a lot of duplicate topics on the same thing.

Anyway, this is not really what I was trying to say. I think there should be a topic pinned at the top which has all the links to the receipe topics. None of the receipes are on the first page, and it seems like not many people contribute receipes.

I know people can search for receipes with the search function... but I think if we have a pinned topic, people will contribute more receipes so the food subforum will not SEEM to be just plain topics about different kinds of food... but more about receipes and cooking.

Just a suggestion... you don't necessarily need to agree. _smile.gif

do you mean like a pinned thread where you can put your recipes?

because thats a good idea. it keeps them around longer, and give speople a chanc to actually notice them..

Yes... and a mod can update the topic when there are new receipes.

I agree with that I have noticed that alot of people don't go into that subforum either.. maybe it's because it's basically a lost land & you have to click like a dozen times to find it.. maybe we should have it be easier to reach the subforum.. I don't know I'm just babbling or whatev happy.gif

Yeah, that would be a good thing to do in the food subforum.
I can find recipies more faster because when I search, it gives me a lot more food topics than recipie topics.

That's actually not a bad idea. The thing is, I think a subforum would be better suited for it, though, because who really wants to go through 123987987 pages of one topic just to look at recipes? I'd much rather look through titles in a subforum.

But then again, do we need any more subforums in Interests?

Mhmm wow that's actually a good idea. I never thought of that before, a pinned topic on the top like, "recipes" or whatever, and people can just post their recipe threads in there, instead of them being all spread out...mhmm me likey :) Me likey muy much :)

Here is a simple solution to being that lazy: SEARCH.
