integrated video cards suck.

i have one, and i cant' watch any videos without killing a bunch of apps to free up memory, or else it stutters and freezes.

it's fixed a bit, now that i have less runing.

try using ctrl+alt+del and go to processes (on xp) and check how much memory each thing is using. try to close the big ones.

that should help a bit.

If you use like AOL or any other internet services that like require a phone cable to be plugged then of course it'll lag. Get DSL or Comcast... or Direcway and etc..

update your display driver. Sounds like you have an OEM computer, so there are official sites with updated drivers. If it's only video problem then I'd say you're using incompatible codec, but since your game FPS gets pulled down with it.... It's a good time that you format it =p

Yeah, as in your the video slows down, but the sound keeps going?

Yeah i got that problem allt he time.
YOur computer is slow.
You have to remove all unnessary CRAP,
And revert your computer back to the state where it had good performance, or even better, Peak performance.

Or you could reformat, thats what i did.

dude... read... that little line you wrote under your avatar to yourself real quick... lol.

For game fps problem, you need to update video driver, then mess with the settings in OPENGL.

for video / anime etc, you need to get the correct codecs. try ffdshow.
