im going to the movies with my girlfriend tomorrow and we are going to go see Ammityville horror, which i heard was real scary, and i was wondering something.
when she gets scared or when a scary scene comes up, should i put my arm around her and hold her? i know that i should everynow and then, but im not totally sure when i should and how often and all that stuff. any suggestions? |

She's your girlfriend, you should put your arm around her to comfort her. If I were to watch a scary movie with my boyfriend, I would kinda expect him to do that to me.

If the movie is scary and she gets scared....yes..you can put your arm around her...if you want to...I guess you can hold her too....since you two are dating...I doubt she will give you an kind of look...Don't stress too much...be natural about it....I don't think she'd want an arm that's tense around her....

I think you should hold her when ever you want to. I'm pretty sure it's something she'd like so just go for it whenever you want. Don't just do it during scary movies.

when i was there, there was this couple in front of me and she put her head on his shoulder. it was cute. oh, btw, there's a lot of scary parts so you could hold her the entire movie.

i guess it depends how scary the parts are. at the moderately scary parts, just squeeze her hand, and at the horrifying parts hug her i guess. but then again maybe she doesnt get scared easily. look out for her reactions, and act upon them
