throb.gif Anyone heard of 'em? They're on the same label as Atreyu and Taking Back Sunday (oddly enough), but yeah...I'm listening to The Silent Circus and was wondering if anyone else listens to them. happy.gif

Yeah, the few times I've seen them.
I mean there was one show that kind of sucked, but most bands have an off show like that. It just depends on what leg of the tour you're seeing them on. I had seen them near the end of one, so I just figured they were worn out; that and the venue sucked, so that contributed to the show's quality.

Hm...I've heard of them, but I really haven't heard anything by them.
Now that you bring it up, I'll have to listen sometime soon. *grins and adds name to list of bands to listen to*

I haven't heard of them, but I've heard of the other bands you mentioned. I like them, so, if they are anything like the other ones, I"m sure I'll like them.

Man, Between The Buried and Me blows my mind. Some of their riffs and beats are just mind-boggling. They are the kings of crazy, skitzo hardcore songs. "Between the Buried and Me" is a great cd, through and through. I think that "Shevanel Cut a Flip" really showcases their unique style.

I can't really talk much about their new cd, I've only heard one song off of it. However, this is one band that really deserves the attention they get cuz they are really talented. Anyone who can do what they did music-wise on their self-titled is pretty much untouchable.

Bumping this! _smile.gif

They just came out with a new cover CD "the anatomy of..." where they cover Metallica - Blackened, Pink Floyd - Us and Them, and Queen - Bicycle Race, as well as a bunch of other bands and songs.

But Alaska is amazing. It's my favorite CD at the moment, one of the best I've heard in a long time.

My favorite song of theirs would have to be Selkies: The Endless Obsession. The guitar solo during the last 2 minutes is incredible. I believe it's on their

Well, I heard Alaska [the song not the album] & I didn't really like it.. Not my style, 'nah mean? Lol.

But I tend not to judge a band on one song, so I'll check out one of their others.

Meh...
BTBAM is one of the more technical metalcore bands, but I just don't like them... their songs don't hold my attention.
