banner, picture size Options

i am a newbie to making xanga skins...

so as of right now, i am doing a default xanga. i made my own banner, however when i upload it, the picture is too small. i am wondering, how do i get the picture to be bigger? as my original? please help! this is the code (the image code is all the way in the bottom):

Did you upload it onto Photobucket.com? If so, your image (file) size is too big...

Upload it again, but this time try Imageshack.us . It should work this time....

i think it might be too big. i did upload it into photobucket and as for the other one, i did also, but the page wont load. so i dont know, if i get the file smaller, the the banner wont be nice

Try saving it as a .jpeg or .gif before saving as a .bmp.... Also, your image link doesn't work. Oh, and try uploading it here.

or you can use imageslice (best do it on image ready> and slice the image into pieces and that way you can have high quality image. I do it and upload for you if you want.

probably it is a bmp, that is why it is so small? you could try converting it into jpg or gif.

If you don't like the image hosters in the big book of resources, then you could use blogupload. All you have to do is sign up!
