whenever i scan with ad-aware, i get some negligible objects? what are those, and is removing them helpful?

also, my computer is being really weird right now. my home page keeps changing and i can't access any other site because it says ACCESS DENIED or whatever. i'm scanning with both spybot and ad-aware but it deosn't seem to be working .. yeah, i'm on media browser right now because internet explorer is being really .. ugh.

Negligble objects, i get those too. I delete them anyway> they havent messed up my computer yet.

Your homepage changing is cause from spyware and adware. You shouldnt use Adware free version. Everytime i used it, i got like nothing. But when I used the professional version, it found 700 adware files. Quite a difference.

Yea. The freewares of ad-aware offers little protection. Suggest u get professional verison.

And I delete everything that the spybots/adaware finds.

And the reason your homepage keeps changing is a possible virus, spyware or adware.

If your homepage always changes, then you have adware or spyware. It used to happen to me on IE. Then I got Firefox and I started using Spybot. =]

The constant homepage changing is a common sign of spyware and adware.

I'm just playing around. You don't really have to delete negligible objects on Ad-Aware. They aren't viruses. I'm not too sure of what they are because I don't pay attention to them. I'm pretty sure they're just your history and what not. They don't pose any serious threat. And for your browser home page changing, that's called a browser hijack. You have spyware on your computer. Actually, I would consider it Malware. My suggestion to you is to run multiple scans with Ad-Aware or another spyware removal program.

Yah i get those too, i think it's just the history, but i delete them neway to just get it outta the way. You should probably be using something else besides Ad-Aware, like Spybot. the two work good together.

I think the neglible objects are tracers the computer uses, like how a computer remembers which folders you usually use in a programs, ex WinZip, but I delete them just to be safe, to be honest if you want a good scan when your comp boots up press F8 and keep pressing, and you will get a screen with options, go to safe mode and you should use Spyware Doctor there, cleaned my comp in a snap, yeah it runs slower but some of the spyware/adware programs don't run therefore they can be deleted...

and yea if you have a diff homepage SPYWARELICIOUS

just get Microsoft AntiSpyware. each time you scan at the end it says, "Do you want to change your IE settings?"
