i was always confused about this.. when people talk about photoshop, are they talking about adobe photoshop or just a program that's called plain old "photoshop?"

its adobe photoshop but u can referre to it as photoshop

its called adobe photoshop some people dont like typing the whole thing out some people use ps for photoshop too
