I would like to put a counter under my chatter box.

Heres the code for the counter


and heres my xanga code




Can anyone help?

find the <!-- Flooble chatterbox for lpdrummer end --> and put a <br> afterwards.. proceed to add the countercode

try this then..



replace the # with your own number and what i did was put in a div so you can postion it happy.gif

line breaks as in <br>? thats what i do because how would you know which words/codes are being line break like being bold.. you gotta start with <b> and </b> but thats what i do blink.gif

Uh... All the <BR> does is make the text go one line down. It's like hitting the ENTER button when you're typing. Therefore, Have mercy<br>On me<br> becomes...

well in my experience with coding i always used <br>TEXT HERE</br> and it work/look fine for me.. but I dont think it matters since both ways didnt work for him/her blink.gif

.... Okay. What exactly was happening when you added the break and the counter code? Nevermind, I'll just look at the code.....
Your problem was you ended the div layer before you added the counter code. Here, copy and paste.
Should work right. Sorry I deleted all the extra lines.... ^_^u
