I searched and found nothing like this, well somethign similiar but it was for a certain subject.

So post some excuses you've used for.. anytyhing!! HW, work, parents etc.

Heres one I used 2 weeks ago on my co-worker

Heres a little story for it to make some sense-
Everyday at work, I get to the office like 2 hours before my co-worker or my supervisor dude. So what I do is take a nap for about an hour n' a half. Yeah, another bit... the Insurance Agent I work for keeps a box of chocolates on his desk tongue.gif...

Ok, back to the subject
I was sleeping as usual waiting for everyone... then suddenly my Co-worker came in and was like "What the hell are you doing sleeping on the job?!?!"

(Just like Will Smith I seem to have that ability to seem serious even though im joking around)

"You see what happened was. Some guy came in, and tried to steal the chocolate... he knocked me out... then I guess he put my jacket over me to make it look like I was sleeping... yeah thats what happened"

*Blank stare towards me*

"Shut up and get back to work"

_dry.gif darn him, nothing seems to be able to get passed him

Heres another one I tried using on my AP Bio teacher...

I forgot my science folder at home so...

Ms. B: Rik' wheres your HW?

"Im sorry Ms. B, I accidentally wrote it in dissappearing ink, it wont come back until tommorow... so can I turn it in then?"

Ms. B: *Completely ignores what I said and moves on*

--5 MINUTES LATER--

*Quickly copies friends HW*

"Hey Ms. B! The ink came back quicker then I had expected... can I still turn it in and get full credit?"

Ms. B: Sure w/e, just put it in the tray

=D

So what are some of your best excuses?

once i was late to basketball practice with two of my other friends cause they came over .. we were late by like 30 minutes because we were recording a song ..

so then my brother drops us off to practice .. and then coach asks us why we were late .. and i said "well .. my brother overslept .. and we didn't realize what time it was .. so .. yeah .." ..

had to run like 5 suicides and thats it, heh ..

I usually speak to my teachers privately after class if I didn't do the homework and I say something like, I left it at home or my computer broke or my printer ran out of ink. Then I try to sound really sad and depressed about it and really stressed out and I start to get teary eyed. Then I apologize a million times so then they say it's okay for me to turn it in later. Today I wanted to ditch Spanish and I had already seen her and in fact borrowed her book like an hour before class (the teacher.) So like a minute before class starts I start running to class and get my keys and cell phone out and by time I see her I look all frazzled and out of breath and I gave her the book and I was like, "Omg. My dad just called me. I have a family emergency. I have to go." And I ran away. Haha. Uhm there are other excuses but I can't remember them right now. Oh I've also used the excuse of car trouble or sleeping in.

I just say " I'm sorry" and try to look really sad. Usually teachers fall for it =P Though most of the time I mean what I say. I hate turning things in late.

ohhh I'm good at excuses.

Can't recall any, but I can act so innocent shifty.gif
It's more how you present the excuse not what it is...but mine are just the common ones.

Most of the time, I do my homework during homeroom. But when I forget a project or something, I just say that it's at home. I`m not good with excuses =)

But I've always wanted to say
-- I was walking down the stairs.
The cat ran infront of me and i fell and hit a chair, face first
My homework flew ahead and landed in a bird`s nest.
The bird thought it was her baby and took it away.
And then i went to the hospital because I broke my nose.

I'm not really proud of it, but we were supposed to send in our essays online to turnitin.com, so they can be checked for plagiarism. Our teacher said that if we don't turn it in online within a certain time frame, then we get a zero on our paper. Usually the online type things have glitches, and I forgot to turn mine in, so I told her there was an error...and I got a B. Yeah.

OMG! Like my parents never let me go anywhere, so, i have to lie to them to let me go.

Like for instance. I'm "on the senior committee" and I have lots of "meetings" when in reality, I'm just out with friends. LOL. I love it.
