okay, I know this is dumb, but I feel like I'm just too slow in the 'relationship' area, I've only had one boyfriend and we didn't even really go on a date (it was pathetic)- I haven't kissed a guy, and I really haven't even held a guys hand- sad I know...just- my friends are all dating and such- my best friend always has a guy and they're always so...close...
 I just dunno- I mean, I sorta want to date, but still...(btw I'm 13 and in the 8th grade) |

Chill. I didn't really start dating until I was a sophomore in high school. And besides, it is perfectly alright to not kiss someone when you're an 8th grader.

Some people move slower than others in the relationship area. It's nothing to get yourself worked up about. It would be silly to get a boyfriend that you really didn't like because everyone else had one to kiss on, now wouldn't it?

um..i was sixteen wen i had my first boyfriend n im STILL with him. im nineteen now. my first kiss was with him. u dont have to go at the pace of ur friends. if they say something then dont listen to them. just go at ur pace that ur comfortable with.

i had my first real kiss the summer before high school when i was 14. don't worry, boys are shy at 13, don't expect so much so fast...
 besides, you weren't with that guy for too long so did you expect that he'd cling to you like your best friend's boyfriend? i was 14 when i had my first boyfriend, he was 16 and he was very shy, it took about a month before we kissed, just be patient. |

its best if you just wait it out .. im 14 and pratically the same way you are except im a year older in the 9th grade .. i think you should just wait it out and wait till you start dating and all .. the more your rush yourself and the more you want it your just going to get somewhat depressed over it and all and thats not going to do you much good ya know? but basically your dating time will come just wait a lil more plus your still kind of young and so am i soo soon your have your time

calm down.
just because you're 13, and all of your friends are dating... it doesn't mean that you have to be "caught up" in the relationship area. you have to take your time; even if it's slow. there's nothing wrong with being single. don't pressure yourself to date, just because everyone else is doing it. go at your own pace.

im 15 now, 16 on thursday and i just got into my first relationship 2 months ago (today is our anniversary) i mean there really is no real rush to have a boyfriend..
it seems ur really not all that excited about dating anyways, it seems to me that ur just feeling left out and being pressured into having a b/f because ur friends do. u dont need to feel that way |

i am 15 and have never had a girlfriend. i haven't even kissed a girl. (with tongue). but i am not ashamed. it just hasn't happened yet. dont' worry! there are people that have GRADUATED and still have never had sex, been in a relationship or been kissed. don't worry about. it isn't that big of a deal.

haha your fine. im about to be 16 and ive never had one. they always tell me im pretty or hot or whatever. some ask me out. but i always say no. its not that i dont want one, more that the guys that like me.. i just dont like, at all. but the guys i like, either just think of me as a friend, like me but dont want to date me (that ones fcuked up), or totally dont like me lol.
