Is it wrong to give your girlfriend a poem, even though you didnt write it?

im not exactly the creative type so im not good at writing poetry. not only am i not good, i cant do it at all lol. and i was wondering if it would be wrong to give my girlfriend a poem even though i didnt write it. she herself is a HUGE poet and writes ALOT. she has a whole big box full of it.

As long as you don't take credit for it. Make it look nice - put it in a frame, put it on nice paper (don't handwrite it, unless you have neat handwriting). Make it look good. Make it romantic. Just don't take credit for it.

No, it's not wrong at all! If you feel that it relates to how you feel about someone, then it's a great gesture to give them a poem. It has been done many times.

Well it's not wrong if you say who wrote it. But if you take a poem and pretend that you wrote it, then that is wrong.

i guess it's okay...personally, i don't think it means as much if u didn't write it. but i guess it's okay. don't take credit for it tho. that'll just screw u over. it's so much sweeter if u write it, and seeing as how she's a huge poet, it'd mean a lot more. but it's all good.

i agree but yeah, as long as you don't take the credit for yourself, it should be fine.

if she goes like "awww how sweet of you! i can't believe you did that!" then she probably thinks you wrote it. don't let her think that, that's mean.
