one question. have you actually read the stranger? cuz if you havent, and googled it, that wouldnt be quite fair.

"funny y'know? after all the highways, and the trains, and the appointments, and the years, you end up worth more dead than alive."

Was that from ANNE OF GREEN GABLES?

If so "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" If not then ignore the question

no, it wasn't from ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. But nice try. The book i quoted from is a really famous book, and it was also very controversial. A book by the same author was made into a movie which had Jonathan Taylor Thomas in it, can you guess it now whistling.gif

Harry Potter, Goblet of Fire

"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that's what you've given me. That's what I'd hoped to give you forever."

"Live, then, and be happy, beloved children of my heart, and never forget that, until the day God deigns to reveal the future to man, the sum of all human wisdom will be contained in these two words: Wait and hope."

That's the "Count of Monte Cristo"....right?

"It eluded us then, but that’s no matter—tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther. . . . And then one fine morning—
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."

No clue.

"And so her soul came out of its hiding place."
^ Something very close to that; I don't have the exact words.

I wish I knew, but sadly I don't. So my best guess is the Bible, sorry. pinch.gif

"It was the cool gray dawn, and there was a delicious sense of repose and peace in the deep prevading calm and silence of the woods. Not a leaf stirred; not a sound obtrided upon great Nature's meditation."

C'mon guys, that's an easy one.
