Well, I have this friend let's just say Bobbie, and another called Sarah. Sarah and me don't like Bobbie, even though she says that we are her 'real' friends and she can tell anything to us, she still talks shit about me behind my back to Sarah, and Sarah tells me. I mean, I can't do anything about it, because I'm not supposed to knwo about it. And i can't dislike her, because she has a good reputation in school, and it's almost impossible to hate her and still have friends (wierd don't ask). But .. the thing is, i stil want to be her friend, she's nice around me, and she's there for you. but she talks shit about me, about how im annoying and she doesn't like me as much. And when i question her about it she acts completely clue-less. I hate her, but i still want her to like me ... does that make sense? someone tell me what i should do about someone like her.

Can you honestly say that she is your true friend if she is talking trash behind ur back? Why would you want to be friends with someone like that. It sounds like you want to remain her friend because she is popular and so it makes you popular and all that highschool crap. You really shouldn't be worried about ur reputation as much. Just be yourself. and don't worry about what people think. If you do that, you may have half the number of friends as you have now, but you'll know twice more about the true meaning of friendship. Does that make sense to you? It;s better to have just a few true, good friends, then have hundreds of fake ones that you have to put on an act around.

If you do hate her and end up with no friends like you said then your friends aren't really true friends then ermm.gif Confront her about it. Don't just keep it to yourself just because your not supposed to know because you do know so you might as well find out why she's being 2 faced.

Did u try confronting her? I mean, if you loose her as a friend because of it, it's her loss. Anyway, just talk to her about it, and even if she says she doesn't, you can be like, anyway, I don't like that about people

you should just forget about her, it sounds like you're clinging on to her friendship because she has a reputation. but if she keeps saying bad stuff about you to others behind your back, some people might believe and you might lose even more friends.

If the girl is talking trash behind your back, then she obviously doesn't like you....she's not your true friend much less your friend.. I suggest you confront her about it and if that doesn't stop her from talking behind your back then just move on and forget about this girl. Your true friends will remain your friends. And if they sway to her side even though they know she's wrong..then they were never your friends from the beginning.

well. lotta people brought up the popularity thing, it's not really that, it's just that, she's fun to be around and stuff, and she's there for you. and if i dont talk to her, it'll be lots of trouble, it's hard to explain.

therfore if she talks about you, she is really jealous of you. i heard that some scienctist observed that when someone talks about you, they envy ' jealous ' of you. =D you might be someone that ppl would want to be.

Well there has to be a reason that she is talking shit about you behind your back. Try figuring out what the reason is. Then think about if the reason is good enough; and if she is worth changing yourself for. Change yourself for the better; not for the worst. If she doesnt like you for the stupidest reasons; confront her about it.

even if she is nice around you, she is still talking smack behind your back. don't be her friend no matter what the consequences are. but if don't want to lose all your friends, revenge is the answer. devil.gif

You know, maybe she's talking behind your back for a reason. She's not telling you this in front of you. Maybe you did something to her and she just needed to blow off steam. But I mean, people will always talk behind your back, whether they're your friend or not. To be honest, I talk about some people. But if she thinks you're her real friend, then she either is or isn't.

so basically, if you're not her friend you wont have ANY friends.

something you should consider is that people talk behind each other backs because they want to have a conversation. i wouldnt take it too seriously unless she does it all the time.
