when you right click the desktop and go to properties, then go to settings. look under screen resolutions. if you can't go higher than 1024 x 768 then your monitor isn't capable off going that high in the resolutions.

Mine only goes up to 1280x1024, no higher. If you can't go any higher than that, then you need a new computer. lol you sure it doesn't go any higher? I thought only old computers do that..

Why do you want to make your screen larger?!
Eh, if it's to see what your page looks like..... Use Resize.

BTW, I don't think screen sizes ca go up to 1600x1200...

you need a graphics card that supports it, not a new computer...

also, by making the resolution bigger, it basically let's your screen have more space, and thereby you can be more productive.

if you know your monitor can support a 1600x1200 resolution but your display setting wont let you, update your video card driver.

if you want to make your resolution higher; you would need 2 things.

one: a monitor that support this resolution&frequency(sp?)
second: a display card that support this resolution.

if you want to get them, i suggest you to go to fry's. it's because they are on sales most of the time. it would be a plus if you have coupon too! happy.gif

I've used a computer with a 30-inch monitor that ran in 2560x1600. :p
