today i went shopping with my bestest friend (whose moving away) *cry and then we bought a skirt each that cost $60 each!!! isnt that crazy (well sort of) and it wanst omg nice that it deserved to be expensive. grrrrrrrrrrrrr

its not my parents money...i work at our subway and im like almost 13 (on friday) ao its my money cuz i make a lot of money out of tips so its aight and i do shop at like ae, hollister, forever 21 (cheap clothes!!!!), express, abercrombie, 20/20 fashion (hip hop clothing)....come to think of it the skirt IS worth 60 buckes...its not that outragous....its g-unit...dont say im wating my parents money cuz im not....im using my tip money :D

I was jsut looking at the bootlegger website it's it's like $85 for a pair of jeans!!! I'm like OMG. and just a few months ago I bought of pair of patns for $60 from AE and I thouht I looked good in them at the store...but when I got home I realized they were horrible about a week later and far too thin for my legs etc. man I'm stupid

I jsut bought two t-shirts and a pair of guy shorts at AE, the t-shirts were $22 each but it was buy one get one 50% off so it was an okay deal, and I like hte shirts, but the shorts...I donno, I liked them at first and I mean I like wide stuff, or at elast I did a week ago but I jsut realized today that I look ridiculas, it' slike I change my fashoin from week to week and ti's jsut stupid, I always coem back to my fav pair of jeans and wear those for a couple a weeks till I go on a shopping spree again and buy something I don't like and always come back to those jeans, the jeans I got for $15 at saan store I saw them again when I went back to buy mroe form that store and htey were on sale for $9 but I didn't buy them I mean it's being two of the same patns so it seemed so stupid at the time...but now that these ones are all ripped os I had to cut them into bermuda shorts I want another pair of the same ones...they are jsut so perfect for me, they ARE me and no the saan store close to my house is closed, it closed jsut about a week ago and I can't beleiv eI didn't catch their closing sales I should write a book on all my clothing problems...

i used to be into those stores that charge at least $30 for a shirt, but then I realized they are waay overpriced! so now i get my clothes at cheaper stores.. but still clothes are getting ridiculously high priced!

Yep, most places are overpriced. Hot Topic is a cool place to shop, but the prices are O_O; I just shop at places I can afford and it isn't outrageously expensive.

i try to keep a strict budget when i shop. like i refuse to pay more than 10 dollars for shirts and and 25 bucks for jeans unless it something i really want and then i will just buy it.

Not that expensive here I don't think. Most of the tops I pay for are normally £10 ($19), I have 2 skirts and they to were £10($19). The jeans I buy are normally £20 -£25 ($38 - $48). Isn't really that expensive considering some stores charge ya £60 ($113) for some tops and trousers.

Yeah they are getting pretty dayum expensive. Deff the jeans. But one day I bought a white shirt that said "Naughty" on it and it only cost 15$ that's pretty good. Then some pants [not jeans, not cotton, and not the stretchy kind, more like jersey material?] And they cost 15$ I thought it was pretty good. But some of the jeans cost 60+ I'm like AAH.

when you work and make a good pay check it doesnt really matter that much, if you really want it, you worked hard for the money and deserve it right? if it looks good, it looks good.

HOWEVER, if you're playing with mommy's/daddy's money you shouldnt go spending it like its nothing since they worked their asses off for it.

not really. shoes are tho. most jordans go for 150, but the XVIII's were $200 and hte XX's were $175. getting kinda pricey. not to mention the nike foamposites pricing at $180.

my advice:

do ur research FIRST online (hide ur credit card).. THEN go look for the clothes.. and think whether or not that item will go on sale anytime soon.. and when it goes on sale will it have ur size...

i like expensive clothes too, but i NEVER buy anything full price.. AND surprisngly, the best deals i get are from department stores!! yup yup.. Macys, Nordstroms, and Bloomingdales..

u REALLY have to be patient and not worry about trends and that kind of stuff.. cuz u can find GREAT things that already has a reduced price+extra percents off!!

these of course, are all advice given to me by my good buddy who is a shopping guru.. she knows when stores put new items on sale, she can predict pretty accurately when the next BIG sales are.. it's crazy..

i went shopping with her and scored a BCBG cardigan that's originally $130 for $25, and a gorgeous Guess dress that's originally $89 for $25 too..

but if u get lazy and don't wanna do all thta thinking (like me most of the time), ross, marshalls, and tj maxx has GREAT items..

I never spend that much money on clothes. I go to places like agaci and charlotte russe, and I buy whats on sale. Especially agaci cuz they have sale where all of their tops are 1.99, and u can get jeans as cheap as 2.99. Also, Vanity has great sales. I used to get shirt there for 97 cents, cuz they just keep marking down and marking down til it sells. So yeah. U just have to look. Some people are so stuck in a certain brand or trend that they have to have it NOW, but if you are patient and really look, you can save a lot of money.
