umm... no on the most Nas songs... it's like a quarter or less of Nas songs...

and Royce da 5'9 ain't mainstream... c'mon man, are you serious? Pharcyde and Tribe Called Quest are more mainstream than Royce da 5'9... Royce has had 3 videos and they all got minimum (if any) play....... BOOM, Rock City (got the most play outta all of 'em), and Hip Hop (got no play whatsoever)....

and I'm surprised you didn't have A-team up considering how much you like 'em

Regardless, a Tribe Called Quest is mainstream... They talk about 'em on hip hop radio stations (non-underground stations) and they're esteemed as far as mainstream legends.... They may not rap the mainstream stylistics but regardless, they're mainstream... Royce da 5'9 is not......

and no, I'm not hatin' on Nas... I'm statin' facts..........

Immortal Technique's flow is wack but I like some of his rhymes... he's not that technical of a rhymer though...... actually, the best part of that song is when Diabolic (white du' from the Bronx or Brooklyn - forget which - comes in and massacres a sick beat)..... Dance with the Devil's aight though

I Agree with the stuff about I.T. and The diabolic part is my favorite... That's probably the only reason I like the song.. also because of the story it tells, which is really well told..

Also..

Nas - Nas Is Like
Biggie - Juicy
Biggie - Dead Wrong
Tupac - I Ain't Mad At Cha
Tupac - Hail Mary
Tupac - Dear Mama
KRS One - Rapture/Step Into A World or something like that lol

When you can turn something into nothing thats when you know you have talent.

I like NAS's Virgo beat because Its Doug E. Fresh making a beat with his mouth and no special equipment.

well if u put it that way, yeah fine, beats arnt everything, i put sum of 50's beats as rap-pop, so what ur saying is jason, that u'd just listen to 50 cents beats, well technically they not his most lieky dre or sum1 esle made em, and u'd rather listen to the beats and that judges a rapper? heh

Anything by Mos Def

Tao of Now - Saul Williams, its more spoken word, but rap is basically poetry.
Notice Me - NB Ridaz Ft. Angelina, i know what i like, and this i like =]
Corners - Common, The Last Poets do some good spoken word on this track
Kanye West - All Falls Down, kinda old, but i still like

umm..that's all for now..
