a hug a f**k a smile and a song to uplift or a look to make you small i dont need pity ineed an answer so shut up come on shut up LOUDER you can say a thousand words in a blink or a glare stare open air echoing with the sad looks poor kid sad bastard clinging to a past that isnt there to a past that let go of the rope a sentence strung on the fence or lynched and hanging from the old pine out back so if i look at you funny or if i burn your card and if i shrug off your hug im sorry because you got it wrong because what i need is written here but you'll never read it because you dont exist anymore and i'll weep and rip my heart out to live the cliche of angst and teenage bitchology 101 but dont feel sorry because my problems let go of me and chain is slack im still at the end ready to take the collar off they're all waiting for me to stand shake off the shackles of a troubled past and step into a future of equal torment it cant go right because i dont want it to i'd rather sit and wallow in the mud of a thousand pasts that never were and in the gap between the flick of the switch and the lights going on i'll wait forever poor kid sad bastard f**k you A+ in teenage bitchology 101 and an C- in life because, let me tell you i got a life outside of school i just like to do some extra homework now and again so dont pity me. im laughing. the tears are all in the mind. yup... valedictorian me |
