hot topic is way pricey, even stuff on sale
charlotte russe is okay, the prices are decent but a lot of the clothes are skimpy.
hollister, never been there
anchor blue, is okay, jeans are hard and polos are hard too.
forever 21, i like but a lot of stuff doesnt fit right
papaya, never been there
a&f, too pricey.

Wow...you're very dismissive.

I agree that the list is not comprehensive but Icannot agree with you that A&F is tasteless and low quality. Granted it can be slightly preppy but if you bothered to look through the racks, you would find plenty of sexy, well designed and well made clothes. This is another reason why its not cheap.

But since you're into BoHo its just not your style so your mind is closed. That doesn't make it cheap and low quality.

Peace Out

i'm sorry, i missed A&F
but on that note, A&F is the majority of my wardrobe, do i like it? yeah, somewhat. but i also hate it at the same time. why? you buy something, hoping noone else has it, and you go to school, just to find yourself amidst of 100+ other girls who are wearing the same thing. and being asian doesnt help that at all. you see embarrassing flocks of asians fleeing into the store buy tasteless outfits that are tacky and you get glares from every worker there.

i'm not too fond of that store, closed-minded? not at all, but dont you think all the brands named up there are what majority of the people generalize as the only stores ever, in this world.

Its a difficult question fo me 2 answer because I live in Brighton, Engalnd and here we have literally hundreds of small stores as well as the big 'chains' to choose from. You would love it because Boho is very hott here @ the moment and many of the small independent stores merchandise this look really well.

Unfortunately for girls in the USA, unless you live in a big city, you have your one major mall to shop at and your choice is very limited.

Try shopping on the Internet. You can get ANYTHING you want and just use a debit/credit card. Same goes for all the girls here. If you're not old enough to have your own cards, just get a parent to pay, just as they would in any store. That way you are guaranteed a more individual look...if you can be bothered.

I like Hot Topic because they're really out there and their clothes are so creative. A lot of their dresses and accessories are really pretty and unexpected, unorthodox. I'm tired of seeing the same styles and Hot Topic really brings out a lot of cool stuff!

Hot Topic --not my style and i'm sure you can get the same stuff cheaper.
Charlet Russe--Charlotte Russe**--love most, out of these selections. just b/c cute girly stuff at fair prices.
Hollister--nice store but it's just like Abercrombie and Fitch
Anchor Blue--??
Forever 21--cheap stuff, horrible quality! not worth it.
Papaya--??
A&F--loooove! but ya need money!

^Strange, huh? Seriously, Express Design Studio NY has very nice clothes. Banana Republic is the same as Express - great quality, but I guess you could say it targets the more older group of people. Express is like, the 20's and Banana Republic is more like... the 20's, 30's, etc. But they of course they both have amazing clothes. Also, okay I don't know WHY some people would even consider then expensive. For those that shop at Abercrombie and Fitch, it's like the same pricing.

And although it is true that A&F and Hollister (a cheaper version of A&F. Same clothes, but prices are wayyyy cheaper) has some good quality clothes, keep in mind that everyone wears it nowadays. I wouldn't say those stores are preppy, rather, I'd say it's a trendy store that many people go to.

As for Armani Exchange.. a little more expensive than Banana Republic. pinch.gif I want to shop there more. <333 Express Design Studio (with ExpressForMen). :] Banana has awesomes clothes too, but they're kind of big for me, since I'm kind of petite. mellow.gif Bleh.

The only reason I would shop at abercrombie or hollister is because the clothes not that overpriced. Although, I would say that some of the clothes there are "cheaply made" because I have a shirt that had hoels in it after I washed it. Some of the shirts are so thin, even for winter... mellow.gif Well, abercrombie (kids). A&F... I'm not going to bother with it since they offer many of the same things as hollister lol.

Out of all the stores you mentioned, the only store I frequently go to is Hot Topic.

Charlotte Russe has some nice affordable clothes, but I never really discovered it until this Christmas when I went to buy something for my sister.
Hollister, over pricey to me.
Anchor Blue is alright, I don't shop there.
Forever 21, I feel the same way as I do about Charlotte Russe.
Papaya, never been to.
A&F, over pricey to me.

Uhm, out of those choices, I would go with Forever 21. Just because I have been shopping there since forever and I love their cute cheap clothes. But now I recently have shopped at Charlotte Russe and I absolutely adore it! So, those two are really nice.

Out of those choices, Hot Topic for sure.

i would have to pick A&F over HCO only because its clothes are geared toward an older crowd and the fact i just love the smell/sound of A&F over HCO ! lol u would think being the same company HCO couldn't get some decent songs

I dunno. I mean I like Hot Topic cause I'm pretty much in the whole black band-t and jeans look. But their stuff is so expensive. I think Hollister has some nice stuff too. Anchor Blue was the shit a while back. Although I'm not to keen on their stuff anymore. So I think for the one with the best clothes it'd be Hollister. But I don't shop there often. I shop the most at Target! Yes I said it, Target! happy.gif
