it has just occured to me that i am afraid of being lonely and alone.... is this normal?

according to Maslov's pyramid of needs, it's one of the needs to to want to feel wanted, to feel loved, and to fit in. so it's natural. nothing wrong with it.

we've all felt that at some time...don't worry, usually you're just being too paranoid, they're your friends, they won't abandon you. if they do then big deal, there are plenty of great people out there to be friends with

don't worry about it, tha'ts completely normal. I don't really fear beign alone cause I have a great family and two wonderful brothers so even if all my freinds suddenly get up and run than I'll still have my big brothers to comfort me
as for ending up unloved and unmarried..well, I gotta admit tha'ts crossed my mind, but I know my freind has an uncle who isn't married and he just lives with them and treats her like his own daughter and they get along really well and he's not lonely so even if I did end up unmarried I'm sure I won't be unloved

I hated being alone, so I got together with this girl and ended up being with her for 8 months. Then everything went to sh*t, and it was the worst 8 months of my life.. so, I guess I would have rather stayed alone and had my friends.

its natural. we all dont wanna b alone. but sometimes its a good thing. u dont have limits wen ur with someone. u can do watever u want. n even i have an aunt who didnt get married. two actually. they turned out fine. there are reasons y things happen to u. just wait n see wat it is. dont stress over it. everything will b ok.

I feel like that sometimes, especially when it comes to like my 'husband' or something since my mum met my dad when she was 19, thats only jst over 2 years for me

in my case for mme i felt love once and when it left i feel so loney and when i think about it , it hurts if this is what your feeling just dont think about it too much and hang out with your friends alot haha thats what friends are for so just cheer up and you will be fine,, that one person will come into your life soon just have patients .:tony:. |

Isn't it strange to be in a crowded area and yet feel alone, yeah it's normal, even if you have someone special, even if you have like a million friends, for some reason, you'll still feel lonely at some point and time.
