the first three or four episodes bored me to death, and for some odd reason, i was turned off by the character design/animation...so I just ditched it there, though I have heard lots of praises and recommendations bout it...might give it a second chance later on.

are you listening to what you're saying? you cant expect an anime to reach its climax in 3-4 episodes or even explain its entire plot. A LOT of the thigns unfold much later on in the 51 episode series. youre really missing out by writing this one off. i recommend you slow down and actually watch anime instead of making it a contest who watched the most.

for the ones that watched it before CN, who gives a shĄt? do you get cool points or something?

anyway i watched all the eps and the ending is open bc the movie FINISHES IT OFF. DUH! expect it early summer

Most people aren't interested in some animes, even after the first minute or so. I want to see you try to watch the first or four episodes of DBZ.

By the way, does anyone know where I can find a desktop theme featuring fullmetal alchemist?

Please don't judge it on the picture. It looks like a your normal everyday anime with anime eyes and all, right? No. It's deep and really just.. amazing. One of the few animes I give amazing to.

Yeah, except the ending SUCKED.

Can't wait til the movie comes out in downloads.

edit- Oh yeah. Also please don't wait... until 1 to watch some ugly dubbed version of FMA. Watch the Japanese version with subtitles. _smile.gif

I can never catch it at the right time haha.I never really know what's going on because I don't watch it enough. I don't even know the names except Ed and Al haha and Windry.. Winry? Something like that. Haes.. Ooh I just looked him up--He's that really cool/silly/random guy with the glasses! Hahah he's so awesome! :D Or well, from the episodes I've watched, which aren't that many.

I've seen the first few episodes, quite a while back.. Like maybe the first 3 then I suddenly stopped watching TV and yea... pinch.gif

Also, IDK why ANYONE would even question the animation of FMA. First off, the animation is very good, IMO. It's very detailed... FMA has a STRONG storyline. I'd have to say that despite FMA being licensed and dubbed, it's still good. I mean, it's not like One Piece (which was an awesome anime but when it was dubbed, it was KILLED). The story is strong and touching. The characters have depth and strong emotions. It's not your every-day kind of anime. It's fast paced, but doesn't drag on, IMO.

Once again, I haven't watched a lot of episodes of FMA -- I've probably only seen like IDK.. 12 episodes total, in RANDOM order -- but even just by watching a few episodes, I can tell that by watching the first episode, this anime had great potential, and now it's really popular.

I should go d/l the anime or buy it or something.. I seriously need to keep up with it.. MUST WATCH MORE TV. There's a movie?! ohmy.gif I have to see it! :P

Haha man when I watched a few episodes of Evangelion Neon Genesis then watched the movie, I was so confused but damn that movie was AWESOME. tongue.gif
Never judge an anime only by the animation. An anime can have a crappy storyline yet can have great animation. You can't have one without the other. I think I can speak for those who like FMA, that the animation is pretty damn good.
