Jack Johnson is wonderful .... but my only problem with him is that he has the same sound throughout all of his albums. But then I suppose if you've got a good thing, you should stick with it. Nevertheless he's great.

My favorite is from his new album "Better Together"

a majority of the songs from the brushfire fairytales album i love. i haven't really heard much of his recent stuff. he collaborated with ben harper on this bob marley song (high tide or low tide) that was amazing.

Jack Johnson is huge here in New Zealand and has been for about 4 years based on his first major release Brushfire Fairytales. When my daughter was about 12 months she started doing the 'la da dada da da' from "Bubbletoes" whenever we drove in the car.

From his sceond album his biggest hit here was "Taylor" it has a pretty cool video with Ben Stiller acting as a music director. My favourile song however is probably "Times Like These".

His third album released here is In Between Dreams, though I've just started listening to it my favourite song on this at the moment in "Banana Pancakes".

If you ever get a chance to go see him live it is awesome, especially if it is in a small venue where he probably goes acoustic. He is coming to NZ in May, though he is so popular now he is doing larger shows unfortunately. He often comes here to go surfing. HAngs in New Zealand surfing with Ben Harper, and Donovan Frankenreiter.

Jack Johnson and Ben Harper are two of my major influences on guitar. My favorite songs to play by him are Better Together and Bannana Pancakes, and my favorite songs by him (just as songs) are Rodeo Clowns and Cookie Jar. Cookie Jar has got some amazing lyrics.

My favorite songs by Ben Harper are Walk Away (Here Comes The Sun) and Diamonds on the Inside. Also, any songs he does as Marley covers.
