yea im trying to lose weight cause my mom said i got chubby and said if i lose 15 pounds she'll buy me all the clothes i want xP well not ALL but like a big amount.

but anywho. i've been doing it for 2 weeks now and lost 8 pounds. (dont worry i dont starve myself) and recently i notice that it's so much HARDER to lose weight.

its like so easy the first few days then after nothing happens!

>< dont u hate that? and why does that happen?

It's not always about weight, it's about losing fat/inches and being healthy. Muscle weighs more than fat.

Yes, it's much more easier to gain weight than to lose it.

ooh my brother told me this before.
he`s like always in a diet craz stubborn.gif

so anyways, he says thats what happens.
he also said this is a great way to lose weight:
you first lose the first 8, then you eat normal again.
then you diet again. & so on.

^ but i wouldnt suggest that. it doesnt look very healthy o_o

Yeah you are gaining muscle..i noticed that as well..the first 10 pounds dropped SO fast and now that i've lost 25 pounds so far its getting harder and harder ;x'

but hey at least you're still losing the unhealthy weight so it is definitely worth it. as long as you are consistent and don't just give up

LOL it makes me laugh when people say its unhealthy..there is a difference if you lose 8 pounds in 2 weeks the UNHEALTHY way and then the HEALTHY way.

if you have a consistent workout and eat the required calories for your age you are doing it healthy. believe me.

I run 3-4 miles daily but i still make sure to eat the calories i'm required as long as they are the HEALTHY ones..meaning i increase my vegetable, fruits, etc. and drop all the chips, chocolate, junk crap. i have done that and i lost 6 pounds within a week. i was never starving myself, i was actually pretty full and i noticed i had a ton more energy.

also while dieting and just being healthy, its good to take all your vitamins which i do as well.

8 pounds in 2 weeks. Hmm... it took you 2 weeks, it takes me 2 months. Something's wrong there.

You have to gain muscle weight first, then you gradually begin to lose some [fat] weight.

Yes, muscle weighs more, but it's leaner.

Btw: Weight is different for everyone. It's your body shape that depends on if you're under/overweight or not.
