Firefox and DIV's? Options

is Firefox compatible with DIV's? In both my site and my friend's other site (not on Xanga), DIV's don't work. I recently switched to Firefox. Is there an alternative to DIV's?

umm for me it works on firefox but it screws up the size and the positioning so it pissed me off.. uhh the way firefox and Ie support javavscript is different. like when i went to my xanga on firefox the pictures wouldnt load and it made my scroll bars dissapeared but on Ie everything was fine.. so iono..theres a lot of question about this and all i can say is that they just show javavscript differently and some points it might disabled div's

divs work; just not as forgiving as IE. To minimize troubles, don't use any overflow: declations

div's work on non-xanga sites. you mean on domains? because they do, i've seen lots of people do it. maybe you did something incorrectly. an alternative i guess would be to use tables.

Both, but as you can see here, my Xanga doesn't support DIV's if you're in Firefox.

you're right it doesn't. but i use divs on my xanga and i see them on firefox. well you can use tables like i suggested for the navigation and about me and stuff, but for the blog, i think you'd have to use a div. i don't think the overflow will do anything. i can give you another way to do the navi and about me div. but i have no clue about the blog. i odn't know if it will work of you used a table for it since i've never tried it.
