*sighs* Almost everyone can say they've been in this situation but it's tough....Your best friend likes the same guy you do. He hangs out with both of us and it's not like I hate her. I told her and she was fine with it but if he actually asked me out (not that he would but I'm just saying) then it would be like stabbing her in the back. And you have to really know her too. She's the kind of person who'll go out with anyone and says she loves this guy but you know she doesn't. Half the time I think she makes up guys just to say she's goin out with em...I dunno...should i go for him?

answer this yourself: is your friendship tight?
if you are, then dont break that. if you went after him first, do you think she'll get mad? would you guys fight over teh same guy? sit down and discuss your feelings over food (cuz food lightens the mood and all..haha) |

thats happened to me and one of my friends(more than once
 ) and we just sat down and talked and made sure that if either one of us got the guy both of us would be cool with it!! that way even if you get the guy and she gets mad, or vice versa, you can't say ya'll didn't talk bout it!!

a boy should never come in between a friendship, if you think by going out this guy it will hurt your friend then i would advise that you to think out which is more important. dating this guy or possibly losing a friend. if she seems ok with it and is not the jealous type then go for it
