I hate it a lot since I'm a minor. Although my parents are going to try to contact my birth - mother, there's a lot that could not happen. Or theres a lot that could. It's just different. I don't like it. haha

no, but i plan on adopting when i'm older. we just had to read this book at school about a little boy who lived in orphanages and its awful that kids actually have to go through that, every child deserves a decent childhood.

Well, it's not totally bad. You could have an open adoption. That would be cool. :) And, I think that it's better to adopt the kid.

You know what? Not enough domestic adoptions go on. It pisses me off.

I'm not adopted, but several of my friends are. Plus there is a wonderful family at my church who adopted this gorgeous baby girl from China. They look so great together, and they really love her. Who cares if they don't look anything alike? Love is what matters.
I'm planning to adopt at least one child when I get married. Might want to clear it with my fiance first... XP

Im adopted happy.gif hell almost everyone in my neighborhood is adopted. Its really creepy. I born in china, but was brought to america when I was 6 months, so I didnt learn any chinese. It would be hard for me to get to know my biological mom since I dont speak or understand any chinese at all. Kinda sad really...

Ah. Two of my cousins are Chinese, and they take private lessons so that they can learn to speak it. It's awesome, though. :)

I'm not adopted, but two of my cousins are. I'd really like to adopt a baby from Japan or Korea when I'm older, and then teach her Japanese, which I'm learning now, or Korean, which I'd love to learn. Adoption rocks...don't add to the world's population problems.

someome move this to the lounge! i think it would get more coverage. just a suggestion.

im not adopted but the idea fascinates and scares me. because some kids feel so much animosity and some are perfectly fine with it. i dont know how i would handle it if i was adopted. i want to adopt a child, but im not sure its a good idea. but then again i think it would be a great idea. i dont know. i'll think more when ive grown and matured more.

im not adopted..i dont think blood means nothing, but i think adoption is a wonderful thing.
i know someone who is adopted. i never asked her about it though..her mom is white and she obviously isn't..so thats how i came up with the conclusion. sometimes i wonder how it feels to be adopted, especially if you and your parents are nothing alike. and also how many stares you get when you are together and you can almost hear the whispers goin..hey is she adopted? thats wht i askd myself when i saw her mother for the first time. but ive got nothing against it..its just funny how people can be two sided sometimes. human nature i guess

that was all rambling.
