And really, i don't see the big deal if you are the same religion or not. Unless you are planning on getting married, it should not be a huge issue.

i never really understood why people make such a big deal out of these things...it's probably that i'm not too religious, my boyfriend and i don't have a set religion...but his parents are supposed to be buddhists rolleyes.gif (oh please, his parents don't settle for cheap things, he's never had dim sum because his mother considered it cheap...and she has a jewlery box full of crap...aren't they supposed to not desire things? ermm.gif ) and my parents are supposed to be christian but they're not too religious

It still is not that big of a deal though. My christian boyfriend wants to get married but I am not freakin out yet. As long as you discuss how the kids are going to be raised it should not be a problem.

And I doubt that you two are going to get married. How old are you? 14?

i used to. i prayed for him a lot but he didn`t really care about my religion... we broke up, but not because of my christianity. the thing is, being with him kinda took me away from God. ><

I`m not Jewish..i`m a "catholic"..even tho I don`t go to church, or believe in God, hah..I guess i`m an atheist.. but my bf is a roman catholic I think..and idk, it`s kinda weird, bc I told him b4 I don`t belive in God and stuff.

i'm messianic.. so that reeeeeeally doesn't help. but no... i think it really strenghtens the relationship if you at least have the same standings on God

i'm stupid.. didn't even answer your question....:
jewish.. and christian are not tooo toooo far off from eachother. i think the difference is that Jews believe that Jesus wasn't the messiah.. (son of God)... so i think they're still kind of waiting for Him to come to earth ^^ well... that is kind of a big difference. hmm.... i'm sry ^^

I'm atheist and my boyfriends roman catholic
very hard to deal with sometimes so we rarely talk about religion, he doesn't practice, but still get offended when I say stuff questioning the existence of god.

oh wait some one has the same exact post as me, crazy I thought it was only me.
oh well thats my case.
