First it was the tiered skirt, then came the ripped up jeans, legwarmers, the ugg boots, the northface jackets. Etc.

What are the latest trends at your school?

Agreed. It's made a huge comeback, especially in high school. Then the usuals are still there- track suit, sweats...

no way! we aren't allowed to wear that at our high school.
trends....mostly wearing a billion accesories at once, weird ones.
like zipper bracelets and staple necklaces.

legwarmers wasn't that big here, i thought it would after abercrombi sold them but not many people got them.

but yes the ripped jeans are everywhere...uggs sort of passed too. at my school most people made fun of them more then wore them.

right now, every girl is buying these really ugly purses that are GINORMOUS.

all those preppy clothes- hollister, abercrombie, american eagle... like their skirts. I don't pay much attention to the fashion trends in guys, though.

seriously, this is some weird forum full of highschoolers. i thought asianavenue was bad.

anyway im in college and the trend is whatever you want. whatever your scene is. whatever best reflects what you want to express. be it preppy/metrosexual with your blazers and diesels, indie-hipsters with your girl jeans and long hair, hip-hoppers with loose clothing. its whatever you want it to be and i love it.

"Preppy" clothes and name brands. Oh and everyone wants to be a goth/emo/skater so they wear Volcom stuff and listen to Green Day. It's quite annoying. I call them preppy goths because they are preppy, but try to dress like goths and stuff. Me, why, I am myself, and damn proud!~

SAME HERE!! the like, preppiest girl in my school just went out and bought herself a skateboard and on her xanga when she describes herself, she's like "i'm a pure skater chic!!!" oh my god it's SOOO annoying.

i have a northface.. paid 400 bucks. im keeping that coat for a long time. everyone around here has them. its hte most expensive trend ever.

but other than the northface coats, the trnds around here are hte same as always. polo's, jerseys, white tee's, and jordans/nike's. never gonna change. and if it does. im not giving up my j's for any trend change. wink.gif cool.gif

puff jackets, and doll shoes [you know, the type of shoes w/ no laces, and have a buckle on the side]

i hate them both.

but during the winter the trend was pea coats. i kind of like that one because i own a pea coat. and still wear it, even though no one else does anyone.
